Fabric is great. Snug around the butt, but loose around the thighs so you don't feel sausagey or like you're running in dorky spandex shorts. I had one pair for six months, then I bought another pair because they are, to put it simply, awesome.

These shorts are great for climbing indoors. They are only knit so they catch some on the rock outside. They are long enough to fit comfortably under my harness but not too long (shorter than bermudas). Although I am about 5 ft 9 in. They are a very flattering fit in the hips and butt for someone with a small butt. I recommend them.

These are nice shorts, however the inseam is long, more like capris. I am about 5'5" and they fell way below my knees. I was looking for a pair of shorts so I did ended up returning them.

I got these shorts for Bikram (hot) yoga, and I love them. The material has a bit of a shiny sheen to them, which you can't quite see in the picture, but they look very nice on. I like longer shorts, and these provide nice coverage for your thighs. (My guess is the inseam is around 5" or 6".) I'm 5'4" 135 lbs. with a lot of weight in my legs. I got a size medium and was pleasantly surprised by how they looked on my bigger thighs. They are tight in the hips and butt, which works well for yoga. They didn't stretch out when they got sweaty, and stayed up just fine. I would definitely recommend these to someone looking for a yoga/fitted fitness short with a longer inseam.

These are one of the best shorts from Stonewear and overall, on this site. I can do every sport in them, they are my go to short. I go running in them and there's a small pocket for my ID or chapstick. I can hike, do bikram yoga in these and climb, the shorts are the best bang for your buck. They wash well and are super comfortable. I love these shorts, I even bought some for my friend for her birthday!
