Bottom Line: Spend more time stomping skin tracks and less time fighting off the weather.
I bought this for my wife who rides her bike or snowboard almost every day of the year... so i'll let her write this one: This jacket is great! First off let me say the ONE down side is that the arms (forearms to be specific) are VERY fitted and dont count on getting anything bulkier then a base layer under this thing. BUT its very warm/wind proof and i've never had a problem with wanting to layer under it for cold weather activities actually if its in the upper 20's or warmer i can count on having to unzip the front so i dont over heat (pit zips would be an improvement i guess). As for the rest of the fit its perfect and extremely flattering. I have huge shoulders and very muscular upper arms from being very active my whole life. I'm posting my measurements because i almost did not buy this jacket because another reviewer said that she usually wears a medium but couldn't fit the XL, that is 100% impossible unless they are lying about their size. I am 5'8 and 40" chest 31" waist 41" hips (size 10 jeans L/XL jackets and shirts). If you are looking for a piece that will look awesome, be very flattering and will function perfectly for any outdoor activity then this is the jacket for you! PS this color is BRIGHT but dont be afraid of it i get compliments from EVERYONE!
Love, love love this jacket. I waffled on getting the small or the medium ( I am 5'6" 123lbs) and decided on the medium due to the other reviews. Guess I could've gone either way, depends on how much layering you want to do. I love the colors too, very well made, great price.

This jacket is great for protection from the elements of wind and rain, however the sleeves are not wide enough to fit other layers underneath. So, if your someone that wants a warm down coat under your soft shell layer, this jacket will not do the job.
Great color! Great style! Generally good fit except the arms are RIDICULOUSLY narrow from the elbow down! No way you can layer underneath. SO sad,but I have to return it. If you just need a light jacket it's awesome, otherwise forget it. :(
I bought the jacket and love it. It's true the sleeves are narrow but the cut of the jacket is so flattering. And besides, the narrow cut of the sleeves fits perfectly with gloves (looks good and keeps you warm). I wear this jacket it with a vest underneath when I need the extra warmth. The color is bright and flattering too. The fit is beautiful.
LOVE my new jacket! The color is awesomely bright! Fits really well. The narrowness of the sleeves is a great feature preventing the chill sneak up your arm. Doesn't have a bulky feel. Rock it with a good base layer and you'll be fine. :)
I've only used my jacket a few times but so far I love it! You could probably jump into a pool and come out dry in this jacket. Great for highly aerobic activities (I use it for snowshoeing and winter hiking), especially if it's snowing. The fit is amazing. Just big enough to allow some layers and not be restricting, but also fitted enough to look good and not be baggy and in the way. I am 5'5'' 130lbs and I got a medium. So far no complaints, if anything changes I will update. Things to be aware of: - The sleeves are narrow, so you can't put much bulky layering under it. - The hood is not removable. - The color really is that bright. - This is mostly just a shell, the fleece lining is not thick. EDIT: I have been using this for a few months now including XC skiing, winter and spring hiking, winter cycling, and running. It has been amazing in everything that has come along. This is my first item from Stoic and they have earned a customer for life.
