Comfortable on my feet

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I started running with these socks, I like that they are thin and breathable. They aren't too thin that they fall apart, but they aren't to thick to bunch up in my shoes or make my feet sweat. The socks come up above my ankles a couple inches, which is nice for wearing them with boots or other higher ankle shoes. I wear a size 11.5 shoe and bought a large. Good deal for a few pairs of great socks!

Stoic on my feet too?!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Really like these socks, they are comfortable, breathe/dry nicely, and fit well. They come up over my ankles so they go well with hiking boots. Not a ton of padding, but plenty for me. I like the synthetic version much better than the merino version because the synthetic version stretches better. I found that the merino version has no stretch to them so I was always having to peel them on/off; what a pain! Also the merino wool yarn does fall out sooner than the synthetic yarn, so after repeated washing's the synthetic version will have less "skin" showing through when being worn.

Great socks

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Fit snug, good cushion, high enough that the heel of ur shoe won't dig in, dries quickly, doesn't smell. What else do u need out of outdoors socks. I use them for hiking, warm weather hunting, and fishing. Can prob use them for running too. And yes they have an R and L on the toes...

Better than cotton socks...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I needed some inexpensive socks to use in my leather work boots as the cotton ones I was wearing were stinking pretty bad by the end of the day. These (along with some foot powder) keep my feet much drier and less stinky. If you want to spend more money then go for marino wool but if you are budget minded and still want something better than cotton...these will make you happy. Colors are cool too and I like using them with my MTB shoes. I am like a mens size 10-11 and I got the M/L.

Not my favorite

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I got these as well as the Merino Comp Trail Socks and I would recommend spending the extra money on the merino. These are comfortable but my feet seem to sweat a lot more with these socks.

The length isn't my favorite either, it isn't quite long enough for my mid hiking boots.

Great socks - will you get them in...

Great socks - will you get them in black?

I doubt we will ever see these socks in once single color, Stoic likes to be bright and they intentionally change the colors with the thickness of the sock. Besides, we have enough of these socks in stock that I could wear a new pair every day for the next 3 years and we still wouldn't run out. I can imagine getting any new stock in anytime soon.

Good, but not great

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Good socks, good moisture control. Merino wool ones are ten fold better. They are a bad length, not tall enough for boots, but to tall for runners. I have the short ones too and those are awesome.

Wet feet

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Honestly, my feet sweat almost as much in these as cotton socks. Never had this problem with synthetic socks from D-feet and Sock Guy. They don't smell much, but they arent comfortable when they get sweaty. You get what u pay for.

Good to go

These are fine quality synth socks, but know 2 things:
These socks are supposedly designed as LEFT and RIGHT, but honestly, who pays attention to that?
"Azure blue" is really "wicked florescent cyan"

Feels nice and sturdy.

And comfortable. Definitely looking forward to putting these to heavy use.

I wear size 43 shoes, the M/L socks fit perfectly.

New Socks!

Remember when you were a kid and people gave you socks for christmas? It was always disappointing. Now I know where they were coming from after years of destroying socks and washing machines eating them (I don't know what else could have happened to them) I miss getting them as gifts. I got some of these a few years ago and was amazed at how well they held up to all the abuse I put them through. I finally killed a couple pairs and decided it was time to get some more. Once again I am stoked on the feel and quality of these and look forward to a few more years of good socks.
