The Stoic Merino Ski Socks beg the question—would you rather wrap your feet in dead plant material, or natural hair that Nature intended as rub-reducing insulation? Yeah, Stoic opted against moisture-retaining cotton and abrasive synthetic fibers and instead went with naturally odor-resistant, non-abrasive, moisture managing Merino. Wear this sock whether you’re headed for in-bounds gnar or you’re stomping out a skin track. Stoic added a touch of spandex for shape retention and a close fit, while nylon reinforcements increase durability without deterring from the Merino’s benefits.
Got these on sale at the warehouse and after wearing them skiing a few times I love them!! They are great for those really cold days and I tent to lean towards the Stoic synthetic socks on warmer days when I dont need so much warmth!
Got these on super sale at the end of the season and love em... I have the synthetic version too and I like that a bit better if its warmer out but this is great for if its super chilly out. Thin so it doesnt mess up boot fit much but thick enough to be warm

How much can you possibly expect from a sock? Keeps your feet warm? Check. Stays up when you move your foot around in a boot (I'm a tele skier)? Check. Padded shin so you don't cry like a little girl at the end of the day? Check. Stays warm and not soggy when you sweat in it? Check. Hold up after repeat use? Check. If there were a contest to see which sock was the best at being a sock, this sock would win the "Sockiest Sock" at the Being-A-Sock awards.
What more is there to say, these are warm and comfortable and they really do stay up. No scrunching up inside your boots. It does feel a little odd how much the hug your calves, but that's probably just me and not used to having a pir of socks that come all the way up to almost the back of your knees. Still I liek them and think that they are comfortable all day snowboarding.
I love these socks. I bought 8 pair just so that I could always have freshies available. I was concerned about the material content (I have very sensitive skin and get blisters easily), but they've turned out to be extremely comfortable and warm. I don't get hot spots with them either.
I loved them enough that I actually went back and bought extra pairs to give to friends as Christmas presents.
These are medium thick wool, not the wimpy thin socks I've seen. Super warm, even when wet, and they dry quickly. Very comfortable, not itchy at all. A great pair of socks for Winter sports.
I like these, but man are they tall, practically come up past my knee! Well at least to the bottom of it. If you have long shins, these are the sock for you! Lots of padding, seems like the wrap around padding for the shin could be a touch lower. But overall, for the price these things are selling at, these are amazing, a little on the thick side, which is great, unless your spring skiing!
These socks are warm, breathable and comfortable. They are padded up in three places: the tongue, toes, and heel cup. Def helps soften unexpected jams while skiing. I would compare the thick part like a medium thickness hiking sock. The rest of the sock has the thickness of a thin to ultra-thin ski sock. I have a pair of touring boots w/ Intuition liners and I find these too thick for those boots. And the final touch; the superman-esque S on the shin.
Used these every Saturday and all during Christmas break this past ski season here in Utah. They did not disappoint at all. The best feature is the stay up. No more pulling up your socks at lunch. Get these and you will not be disappointed.
These are pretty solid socks. A little thicker than I expected but still fit really well. What I expect from a ski sock, tall, warm and good shin padding.
Awesome buy. Extremely warm and comfortable. Has extra padding on the shin where the boot meets your skin. No more raw shins after a crazy day on the slopes.
First off I'm a firm believer that ski socks make a difference and are worth the extra$$$. They are Built with forward lean so there isnt extra material bunching up on top of your foot. All the tight elastic spot add extra support to keep your feet happy all day and keep the socks in place. Overall great fit and quality. Highly reccomended!
