Great mid weight socks
Great socks. Really warm and I love the cushion on the bottom. Its not too much like a lot of the other socks out there. I wear them to work because of how comfortable they are. These are the only socks I have hiked in and they have held up really well. They are warm when you need them to be and are able to breathe as well. They don't stink even after wearing them a couple times. They fuzz a little bit like other reviews, but have held up for a couple months so I'm not too concerned.
Concerned about durability
I just got these last week and have to say they feel really nice, especially for running outside in the winter. However, after only one wearing, they're already starting to peel over allover the place. Based on this I don't expect them to last very long.
I like these socks a lot. The are comfortable and warm. They are a bit tight in the ankle so they are tough to put on though.
Great sock! Amazing price!
My favorite socks. Feet stay toasty, but don't sweat! There is even a left and a right!
Socks are the bomb. Super warm and cozy
Just go them...
Love them. Perfect in every way.
Great Socks, Great Value
Good merino wool socks are hard to find. It's even harder to find multiple pairs of good merino wool socks. These socks are excellent for light hiking, biking, running, and relaxing. Plus, you're feet won't stink. You'll want lots of pairs, so why not get three of them at once?
Soft and Comfy
Great socks! Comfy and fit good.
Great socks, great price, but one caveat.
I really love these socks, they wick moisture away really well, give a great cushion, and isolate my toes fro m the steel toe ( I wear these in work boots).
My only complaint is they are preformed as left and right, and even though they are labeled with a little L and R, Its still sucks to not be able to just grab 2 socks and put them on.
Sturdy and Soft
Scored two sets on SAC - and I love em. I currently use them for walking, trail running and light hiking. I have a set of thurlos that have lasted a couple of years (with weekly use) and they are finally wearing thin so I thought I would give these a try. They are very soft and the merino wool keeps the smell at bay. Bought the black/pink for myself and blue for my son.
They wick nicely; the seams don't rub my feet in any way. They wash well too- something I cannot say for some other brands (not too happy with Lorpens in that department). They are more sturdy than REI brand and more comfortable.
good socks. still like smartwool better for hiking/backpacking. these dont stink as bad as i thought they would have considering the wool:synthetic ratio. and my feet freaking stink dude! got 2 pair off SAC for 10 chucks. i like these for light running (when not wearing my vibram five fingers), work and everyday wear. good socks. not crazy about the color options, but color is never a deal breaker for me. worth the purchase if you can catch them on sale. for full retail, i would look to smartwool for a higher merino content product.
great trail running sock
a good blend... i can feel the dryness and the cushion of the merino fibers, but it also stretches on great, and stays put. the merino also has more grip inside your shoe. i like the 3 pairs option, cause i lose socks easily.
the synth sock from stoic is also good for hotter temps and close fitting runners
