Sweet comfort

  • Gender: Female

Love this sock. I don't know what else to say. This is my go to sock for everything, running, casual, hiking etc. It stays on my foot and doesn't slide around. I bought 6 pairs of these. I bought a small, I have a small foot (size 6) and the sizing is spot on.

I know why these are out of stock

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These socks are out of stock because they are amazing! Price, quality, comfort... I have 4 or 5 pair and absolutely love them. I wear them for running roads and trail, or with my Danskos at work. They are better in quality than Smartwool and similar in quality to Darn Tough Vermont socks, but a better value price-wise. I wore them at the Bear 100 and they treated my feet very well. When they come back into stock, I will certainly snap up a few more pairs. I haven't had any problems with "pilling" as others have mentioned. I'm thoroughly satisfied with these socks.

wear them all the time

these socks are awesome. I bought some for me and my daughters, and we call them our Dr Suess socks, and just love them. I even wear them for trail running and don't get blisters because they wick so well.

Love the socks

  • Gender: Male

Stoked they do a lefty and a righty. So rad! My feet stink, the wool totally helps my paws not get so dank. In fact my wife has let me come off the couch and back into bed cuz my feet are actually bearable! Ha ha, jk. No but for reals the merino is stench free and for that reason I'll be back like Arnold.
Great for trail running and just wearing around. Love the foot gloves aka socks!

Haha, at one point in the Bear 100 I looked down at my feet and made a joke that I had two "lefties" on and hoped that it would not affect my performance. It didn't ~ I finished!

Responded on

Ha ha! That's awesome!

Look good but pills

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Title pretty much summed it up. Love the look of the stripe-y socks, refreshing from a sea of black ankles. Comfy, but pills like crazy, even before washing. It's cheap so I won't complain.

Pilled After 1st Wash

Thoughts: Great feel, great fit, cool design, but poor quality.

Out of the box I was stoked, but the socks began to pill after washing them once. And not just here and there, but the WHOLE sock. I'm not really particular about the look of my socks, but I'm curious as to how they will hold up over time...

Great sock!

These socks rock! Nice and soft, good amount of padding on the bottoms, perfect height to just come up to the tops of my mid hiking boots, and they come in some rocking color combos.

Bottom Line: you can't beat wool socks at this price point.

Mom's favorite hiking sock

I got these for myself, then my mom stole them out from under me! Good thing there were two pairs. Comfy, wicking, lightweight, perfect hiking sock. Plus they look nice.

Great work/play socks

Got these and loved them from the start. First of all, they are super comfy. I wear them to work because they breathe well and have just enough style. I think the height on the socks is perfect for trail running - short enough so you don't notice them, long enough to keep your ankles from getting scratched up. They are my go-to trail running socks now (over my Smartwools) and they have been holding up nicely. I hope they make more colors next year - I would definitely buy again.

Good lighter sock

Good crew sock for trail running and hiking. They dry quickly, and have a nice stitch around the crucial areas.

Good socks

I can't give these 5 stars because they didn't knock me off my feet. But they're socks and they work like socks. Durable, don't itch, and look pretty cool. I'm a size 10.5 to 11 (depending on the shoe), and the L/XL fit great.

Great feel / Function

These socks are great. They wick moisture away, have a great padded feel and fit great. I'm a size 9.5 and went with L/XL. I could have maybe gone down a size, but overall I am pleased with the fit.

Great stripey sock

These look really nice out of the box and fit well. So far I've washed them once, and they do pill a bit, so likely a 1-season type of sock, but I usually lose one before socks wear out so I'll go for these given their superior style and comfort. I'm a size 11 shoe and the L/XL fits me great, as do all Stoic L/XL socks.
