Best hiking socks I have ever owned or ever imagine owning. cheap, light, dry quickly, not stinky. Went 15 miles with 50 lb pack after dunking my foot in water on the first mile with no blisters. Eliminates need for liners or thicker materials.

These are really nice socks. Not too thick,Comfortable hiking and climbing(yes I do wear socks with my climbing shoes), Bit worried
about the wear and tear, notice alot of built up fibers after my first use. Soft, feels good, and cool on hot days.

I bought 2 pairs of the black and 2 pairs of the white. I'm an 11 men's and I bought the large. The socks feel great but the calf portion is a bit snug, and I have very thin legs for a guy. Not a bad buy though....l

I got these socks for my husband and he is getting really bad rashes on top of foot and right above the sock line. Anyone has same experience? He doesn't have any allergies that we know of. This is the first of kind he experienced so we are puzzled.

My last hike I used these over a thin liner sock (http://www.backcountry.com/smartwool-hiking-liner-crew-sock). After a 7 mile grind up a 7% grade carrying a 45# pack I had zero blisters. We then went down hill at an even steeper grade for a few miles. Zero blisters. They're not super thick like some of the socks which makes them work quite well with a liner sock.

I've also been wearing these as I've been training for a GoRuck Challenge, doing lots of train running combined with lunges and calisthenics, all packing between 10# and 35#. I've got several pairs of socks I've used; the Salomons are the best but these Stoics are half the price and a run close second. To wit, I've just ordered several more pair instead of the Salomons.

Got these as a gift for my Father In Law and he called asking me to get him 6 more pairs. They look great, he said that they fit really well and are breathable.

I picked up 6 pairs of these socks two summers ago, as I wear them in my wildland fire boots. I put a lot of miles on these socks running saw, calling in buckets and digging fire line, and they've been *super* good to me. They're a great weight for hiking in the summer time. These socks have far outlasted all my other merino socks, I figure I've got about 100 days on each pair now, and they're finally starting to come apart. I just picked up another 6 pair so I should be good to go for another two seasons of fire. I'm an 11.5 street shoe and the L/XL fit great.

I bought a pair of these socks about a year ago and recently just purchased another pair. For the price these are some great socks. The material is very soft and they hold up great. The older pair are starting to show some wear on the heel and ball, but this is minimal. If you are size 9-10 I would go with the S/M. I wear a size 10 and these fit perfectly.
