This is an awesome top, I got hooked onto Merino with the Icebreaker products when I was working in an outdoors gear store and I've never turned back.
For a fraction of the price you get the same, if not better quality merino in the Stoic products. It is a nice thin lightweight warm to cool 150gsm merino that has the usual smell killing qualities. I wore the same top layered with a l/sleeve 150 merino top for 4 days, skiing, skinning, sleeping, eating, drinking, sliding, reading and it still didn't smell (I smelt tho). Buy it. Follow the herd. Be a sheep.

I got this the other day off SAC for 30 bucks. An amazing price for a wool base layer, and had I known how awesome this shirt was I would have bought 2! The fabric is ridiculously soft and the fit is great, slim but not skin tight just like it should be. There were no loose threads or messed up stitches when I received it in the mail (which is surprisingly common when I order clothing off the internet). Its pretty thin, so you can still wear it even in non-cold temperatures (that said, if the temp is below 50 or so you're probably gonna want another layer). It breathes extremely well and the best part: It doesn't smell at all even after being almost completely drenched in sweat.

I love this merino shirt. its made from merino that is 17.5 micron, and noticeably softer than others out there using 18.9. 18.9 is soft, but this merino wool is incredible soft. i use it for everything, on the hill, off the hill, around the house, around town. The fit is athletic but comfortable, not tight. arms are plenty long but stay where they need to be. washes well - i took a hit last year with 8 stitches in my elbow and blood everywhere. the merino did not cut, and washed up great! ditch the old synthetic layer, and treat yourself to warm, comfortable, and soft baselayers from stoic.

I second that comment and fully agree with the five stars for this shirt. I am 72 so I don't go climbing mountains or skiing like you youngsters, I wear it going around the shops and surprising for my middle age spread, the small size fits very nicely. In fact the sleeve is too long so I roll it up until it does not stick out from my other clothing. All in all it's a wonderful shirt in the shale/vintage colour.

Is there any reflective piping or decals...

No. I have the black, though.

Unless Stoic has changed their ways, the Stoic logo decals shown near the neck and cuff are both reflective. However, due to their size and location I wouldn't count on them to make you visible in the dark.

all the stoic logo are a silver reflective, very bright reflective too.
