The downside to riding during those deep, dark storm days is that you have to brave the season's coldest temperatures, which can chill you to the bone. Like a puffy for your hands, the Stoic Luft Synthetic Mitts shelter your hands from the cold. Stashed inside lies a layer of Primaloft insulation to supply ultimate warmth without the out-of-control bulk that's usually associated with insulated expedition mitts. For truly foul weather, Stoic gave the tough nylon shell a DWR coating to repel wet, soggy snow before it soaks in when you're far beyond the gates.

- Elastic drawcord gauntlet closure stretches over the cuffs of your sleeves in order to seal out the snow when the stashes turn seriously deep

I love how warm these are, and how they still pack down small so they'll fit in your pack without filling it up. And being synthetic, you know they'll keep doing their job even if they get wet.

Got these mittens as a free gift with another purchase, and LOVE them! They come up past the wrist keeping the whole hand warm. The inside is designed like a glove and keeps your hands dry and warm against the cold wind. :)

Free mittens? Who's to complain? These mittens are beasts!!
Incredibly warm, these mittens will keep your hands toasty in the coldest conditions. The fabric isn't incredibly waterproof, but will shed snow well enough. The palm material is nice and tough.
Only weird thing about these is that they're pretty big... like small boxing gloves, but again, who's to complain when they're free?!?!
I probably won't use these unless it's a super cold day on the hill (single digits or lower)
