Very flattering, long bodied. Much warmer than either the Patagonia or North Face ones I tried on. It also has wrist gaiters that the other brands didn't. Much better value for the money. I have received multiple complements on it and expect I will receive many more. It also comes with a lifetime warranty!!!!!
Cheap, packable, layerable.

Just try it. Stoic did a pretty good job with this one. Seen here in size S (Eyrun is about 5'3"), with an R1 Hoody and some long underwear on underneath. In this size it somehow works well for her as a stand-alone, an underlayer, and an overlayer! It's not super thick, which I think gives it this flexibility.

It is slightly warmer than other down sweaters. That is why my wife loves it so much. She has a mountain hardware but said it is too cold. My wife is tall so she loves that it has a long waste. The fit is spot on. It has a nice shape and comfortable.
Exactly the jacket I wanted!

Since I've always found it so helpful when others review clothing and say what their build is like (I hate having to make returns), I'll say that the medium version of this jacket is perfect for me--slightly loose so I can layer wool underneath, but I can still put a hardshell on top. I'm 5'5", 125lb, DD, and long monkey arms. Needless to say, its hard to find jackets that fit. I like how long this jacket is too (just over the hips)--great for biking into town! So cozy and lightweight as well.

I ended up returning this item due to sizing. I usually wear a medium, I ordered it in a large to wear over my snow pants and it was very tight in the hips.
Great Jacket

Got this for the mom and she loves it. Great fit, lightweight and warm. Not a fan of the purple option, but the black looks good and gets some positive feedback from everyone that has seen it.
Great Down Sweater!

This Stoic down sweater keeps me very warm and cozy. I mainly wear it under a softshell jacket, it's not bulky at all! Super lightweight and easily packs down for storage. The colors are very pretty, I would definitely recommend this down sweater!

I got this jacket last month and love it. The fit is great for warmth and feminine. I am 5'7" and 135 and got a medium. It is a nice length for warmth. I like that the pockets are nice and soft inside and keep my hands warm. It has been a pretty temperate winter in chicago so far, but on cold days it has still kept me warm. Love it!
Very Tight Fit

I wear a medium in the patagonia, so I thought I would order a large in this one because I was going to wear it over a pair of snow pants. The fit was very tight around the hips and thru the chest. Need to order almost two sizes bigger.
nice jacket, but bright!

i have long arms and a long torso, so the fit of this jacket is perfect for me. it's also warm and incredibly light. the purple color is almost neon though. i'm trying to embrace it, but thought it would be a little more subdued from what it looked like on the screen.

Very long sleeves and long overall length. Quality of down filling was not good.
Love it

I love this jacket - bought the Sugilite last week (fantastic color) and now I'm bummed that the weather is warming up. Although it gave me a chance to try it out in the rain...and it was amazing! I was out walking for 1/2 hour in a downpour and the rain just beaded right off. It's a slim fit, which is great for me, and a bit longer than other down sweaters I've tried. I did go up a size to a Large (usually a Medium - 5'10", 140#) for longer arms, body, and to accommodate a sweater underneath. I highly recommend this jacket - it's a steal at this price and I like it much better than the Patagonia, GoLite, and many others.
Looovvveee it!

Technically this jacket is fantastic. It's very very warm, light, compressible and the elastic cuffs make it work really well as a layering piece because the sleeves don't ride up when you wear a shell over it. I wear it over a smartwool midweight layer, under a waterproof shell for skiing on cold days and it's awesome. It's also become my designated wear around town jacket on cold, dry days. Although the fabric is very light and soft it seems durable. I'm rough on jackets, and after a few weeks this one still looks brand new. It has long arms and the length is very long. I'm 5'11" and it hits just below my hip.
The problem is with the fit. I usually wear a large, but seem to wear an XL in all Backcountry.com and Stoic stuff. The XL in this fits great across the shoulders, chest and in the sleeves but the hips are too wide. The jacket has a very feminine shape, it's just not proportioned quite right. However, I like everything else about it- more than my north face thunder, for sure. Good job, guys!
Nice!

Really nice jacket! Almost as nice as the Patagonia Down Sweater at a fraction of the price. I got the sugilite and get lots of complements. I wear mine as a townie jacket and layering for skiing. The fit is trim for layering length is nice and long for wearing around town when its cold too.
