Description

A tough bag for keeping gear dry.

Stash your gear inside the Stoic Burls Rolltop Bag and keep everything dry when water threatens your outdoor travels. The top access opens wide to make packing easy, and when it's time to hit the road, the roll-top closure seals down tight to keep water out. Stoic used high-denier material to make this bag tough as nails and burly—hence the name.

  • Heavy-duty 840D nylon shell material is highly resistant to abrasion, punctures, and your abusive outdoor travels
  • External PU coating repels water, and the light TPU-laminated interior offers additional protection against water
  • Internal coating makes it easy to slide gear in and out of this bag quickly
  • Roll-top closure seals the top of this bag quickly and easily so water won't get in

Bought it in the nick of time

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought the 15L dry bag and came back a week later to buy some more, only to find out that they're discontinued. I use this stuff sack for clothes, or when it's raining, I'll stuff my down bag in it to keep it completely dry. It functions well and haven't yet failed me.

awesome

super durable. i put a strap through the clip loop and the daisy chain and used it as a shoulder bag while hiking in some pretty rough weather. It held up surprisingly well through a full day of abuse.

Great waterproof bag for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used this bag during rafting trips. The price was very reasonable. Easy to shut. The bag is waterproof indeed; tested with food inside.

Great price dry bag!

Fabric is very sturdy and durable, it would be hard to puncture this material. Very easy to seal closed and rolls quickly for opening. The internal coating in the bag really helps slide stuff in and out of this bag. Keeps everything dry! The bag is currently on sale for 50% off, your silly not to grab this bag for the sale price! Such a steal!

Burly.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have all three sizes of this bag. They are fantastic. Extremely durable outer can stand up to a lot of abrasion. Inside is nice and slick so gear slides right in and out. Kept all my gear dry even with a bit of a submersion. This is one of the more rugged dry bags on the market and at a great price.

My stoic bag on my yak

The 30L bag had more than plenty of room to keep all of my extra clothes dry on our paddle camping excursion. It's really nice that it has a place to add clips to attach things to it. I used the loops to slide a few carabiners through to clip it to my yak just to be sure it wasn't going anywhere. There were some pretty good waves at one point but this bag didn't let a drop of water in. It is also very durable, I love it!

Sweet.

I use the 55L to pack two Marmot Trestles sleeping bags into, and it works great. Durable and a great price.

Sweet.

I bought this to keep stuff dry while hiking/canyoneering. The 15 liter was a little bigger than I thought it would be, but good nonetheless.

30L burly

30L burly

I needed a good weatherproof burly bag to hold my ski boots on the back of my snowmobile. The 30L did the trick, and for how cheap they are, I bought all 3.

Handy Bags

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love the colors and made of sturdy fabric. Bought the 30L and 15L. Haven't used them a lot, but plan to this summer while camping. Did a good job of keeping items inside dry while in a pickup truck bed during a heavy snow. Happy with the colors and quality of the fabric.

I see this bag keeps water out, but do you...

I see this bag keeps water out, but do you suppose it would hold water in? I'm trying to find a durable, waterproof bag to use for soaking a horses hoof. The ones sold for the purpose are actually too long and go up the whole leg of the horse and don't stay up. If this bag can hold water in, I'd just duct tape it around the lower leg.

Impressed so far.

My first impression of this bag is that it's well designed and constructed. The material is heavy, but not quite as heavy as a Sealine Baja bag. The inside is slick, not rubbery, and is easy to stuff a sleeping bag into. It also has a daisy chain welded to one side, which is not in the product photo or description. I plan to buy a couple more now while they are half price. Well worth it.

Burly at a Discount

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sure, this thing isn't going to beat much more expensive options. But at it's price, the 55L bag seems like an awesome purchase. I've beat it in a bit and it doesn't seem to care. Seams are super burly and the welded assembly has really proven istelf on my other gear, we'll see how it does here. After about 8 uses, the yellow is taking on a nice beat in "sage of the mountain look" that really looks good.

This bag has kept all of my gear try after 2 swims, and a half hour test in the lake. (filled it up with some towels and tied a few bricks onto it. Passed with flying colors.

Worked?

Picked up the 55L for a 2 1/2 day river trip. Stuffed one bigger sleeping bag, two inflatible sleeping pads, a two person tent (with fly) a change of clothes for one person and a few odds and ends into it and it was just about maxed out (and rightfully so). I didn't feel very confident about its waterproofness when I rolled it up, luckily it didn't have to float down the river on its own, but it did have a wet car ride home. The yellow color is neat, but instantly get dirty. It feels fairly durable, but i've used burlier. We'll see how it goes

Wow, I haven't crammed that much into mine yet, but good to know that's an option!
