Gave this to my Mom for a Christmas gift and I don't think she took it off until she vacationed in Hawaii! I can't personally comment on fit, but it seemed to fit her nice, the way a mid-heavyweight baselayer should. She loves that arm pocket too to throw a house key in when she goes for winter runs. The color schemes on this are great too.
Runs small

If you want a tight fitting baselayer, this is great. If you are wanting to layer it over anything more than a thin sports bra, size up. Otherwise, it is a nice composit piece with very long sleeves.
LOVE me some Stoic!

I have yet to be disappointed by anything Stoic that I have purchased. This is by far my favorite Stoic piece. It might be my favorite piece in my wardrobe! I am 5'5" and 125 and ordered a size medium. Plenty of room in the bust, but still fitted around my waist. Love the long-enough sleeves! Nothing to complain about here :) I can't wait to get more colors as they come out!!
Buy it!

I got the extra small (5'4 105 lbs) and I also got the Icebreaker BodyFit 200 Chakra 1/4-Zip Top. I prefer the Icebreaker so far in that this shirt feels really clingy. I realize as a base layer it's supposed to feel this way but with the thickness of the fabric it's an adjustment for me (not a bad thing, just different). Compared to the Icebreaker this one has absolutely NO itch factor and this base layer has a stash pocket. This shirt would be great on it's own for fall running/hiking where as I would be hesitant to wear the ice breaker base layer by itself. The zipper on this one zips far enough down to see the top of my sports bra. Also the lenght of this shirt is very nice, the bottom covers just a tad bit lower than my stomach and the sleeves can be pulled a bit to cover the tops of my hands. Great shirt.
A very satisfied customer

We bought a few base layers for the ski trip up north. This is my favourite one by far. I love the combination of the colour design and it feels really comfy wearing it. I am in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy (hence only my hubby skied, I did snowshoeing),but I bought my pre-pregnancy size, the long cut and the fabric accommodate my belly really well! It also washed well too.

is the little pocket on the side good for an ipod?

Depending on how old your iPod is (maybe some of the really old ones would be too big?), you can fit most of them into that pocket. My wife uses this pocket on her Stoic Breathe shirts when she is running with an iPod mini. You can fit an iPhone in there too - so most devices should work fine. I think it would be small for the really big phones (Galaxy III, etc).

I wear this layer for running on cold days. I love the little pocket on the side. It keeps me warm and fits well. A great buy for the price.

This shirt felt scratchy to the skin and clung to under layer. Tight fit.

The Large is a great size for me and I'm 5'10". I wear it underneath my ski jacket, running errands and to the gym. It is a super flattering fit.
Stoic Breathe Composite is a great baselayer

My wife loves this shirt and wore it often under her ski jacket or really anytime she was out in the cold. It's just the right amount of insulation without being too bulky or too warm. She loves how soft and comfortable it is and like wearing for early morning jogs, etc. Highly recommend.

My wife is very stoked on the Stoic Breathe Composite T shirt - we tried one out and she immediately sent me back to pick up all of the other colors. She is 5 ft 2 and 120 lbs and this fits perfectly. The quality is a step up from some Stoic tops of yore, and the fit and wicking properties are so good that she even wears the plum color that she doesn't particularly love from a purely aesthetic standpoint. The quality is on par with Under Armor and other athletic brands. If you can only buy one, the black and purple is the ringer.

I love the way Stoic clothing fits me. This is just another one of their products I am pleased with. The fit is flattering. It is snug and longer in length. I love the little zip pocket. I am able to stash my key or chapstick when I am out for a run. I wear this for running on cooler days, layering under my jacket when I ski, for bike rides, and for lounging in. I never feel too hot in this, just perfect. The only thing I am bummed about with this shirt is that there are no thumb holes.
Great!

Similar to under armor, I love the stash pocket and the cut of the fabric is flattering. The technicality of this fabric is sweet very breathable, I definitely dont get sweaty.

Very comfy top! I'm 5'3 and the sleeves were a bit long for me. Wore it under a fleece jacket and kept me very warm on a hike. Works great for layering.
Fits swell

Really comfortable and flattering. I'm petite (5ft) so the sleeves are a bit long, but better than too short. I can't testify to its warmth yet, but I can say that I'll definitely be purchasing another one.
