    Don't forget to to Breathe.

Whether you're slogging up a skin track or hauling a heavy pack beneath an autumn canopy, the long-sleeve Stoic Breathe 90 T-Shirt wicks away moisture and dries quickly to ensure you stay comfortable as you move. It resists odor, too, so the squirrels don't have to cover their noses when they sniff you coming up the trail.

I love the Stoic line of products generally, and this one is amazing as well. Got it for my dad as a gift and he loved it so much that I've gotten him 2 more. Thumb-holes are a super-simple and practical way of keeping the hands comfy, and the sleeves where they need to be. Got him a Medium based on his height and he says the fit is perfect.

    The old man loves it!

I bought a couple of these for my dad and he loves them. He wears them as a base layer when he goes skiing but he also wears them for a knock around shirt. The arms are a bit long, that's his only complaint.

So good, I had to buy a second one!

I love the lightness, looks, and sweat-wicking properties of this shirt. I loved my first one a little too much and got a few snags in the fabric from trimming rose bushes while wearing it (stupid of me!). It's my go-to underlayer for winter, as well as the dry shirt always in the bottom of my pack while hiking, to change into when I get to my destination all sweaty. Looks nice enough for casual wear and travel, and hardly wrinkles while packed.

    One of my all-time favorites

From all the gear I've even owned, this one is one of my very favorites of all time.
Very light, packages very small in your pack, comfy with a nice soft feeling, shapes very well and looks great.
Great first layer when in cold temps, great alone in mid-temps. Keeps you cool on moderate to only slightly hot temps, and somehow warm on moderate to slightly cold temps. Some people say they use it as a summer layer but for me would be too warm for that (although I guess it all depends where you spend your summer).
Like other reviewer mentions, it will pull if you catch it on something.
Bought one in 2012 and minutes ago just realized they still have my size. Bought another one immediately!
    Overall, a GREAT product.

    great hiking shirt

if you are not into the whole merino movement and still like poly, these shirts are great!
I have a few and wear them on summer hikes and they do the trick.
they dry quick, and keep you cool.
The fit is true to size as well.

    Great shirt.

I wore this shirt on the ascent up Mt Whitney. It is very soft and silky feeling. The thumb holes in the sleeve help to keep the sleeves from bunching up. Great shirt.

    Wonderful Shirt

Featherweight, silky, comfortable, plenty of sleeve length. Fantastic for hot weather, as well as surprising warm when chilly. You do have to be a little careful as it will pull if you catch it on something, but overall a fabulous, much used piece.

Best lightweight base layer I own.

I have been a gear junkie for a long time, and prefer synthetics. I have long been a fan of Stoic and have multiples of both the composite and the merino version of this T. I have just recently picked up the Breathe 90 (LS) and it immediately became my favorite light weight base layer. It is the lightest base layer in my closet, and it has one of my favorite hands of any piece I own, regardless of brand.

Some folks have complained about the sleeve length and/or thumb holes with these Ts. It's fair, I suppose, if you don't actually like those features. But I DO like them, and I've seen other companies try to implement them, but never with the feel or aesthetic that Stoic has done. I'm 6'3, 225#, and it's almost impossible to find LS Ts with sleeves that are long enough for me. Thumb holes? Forget it. But this fits perfectly (XL).

I literally cannot recommend these shirts highly enough. Great prices on Backcountry.com, and if you see one pop up on SteepAndCheap.com for even less, then you'd be silly not to give one a try. If it's your first Stoic piece, I can almost guarantee it won't be your last.
