Really nice and thin socks, confortable and I was expecting not to be very warm but they works well in cold weather. The discount of BC on these socks is aweson, excellent price for the pack of 2 socks.

A little thinner than I expected. A lot of people say that the thinner the better, but I think they took it a touch too thin on these. I can't say my feet were toasty worm at the resort, but they do the part while hiking in the backcountry. I think the Smartwool medium ski socks are a better overall sock, but for the price, the Stoics are worthwhile.

Yes they are thin, but if you have a proper fitting ski boot that is what you want! They are still very warm. My issue with these is that they were very slippery and my foot moved around inside my boots because of this. I got my boyfriend a pair and he had the same issue. Still, a great price and I'll use them for hiking and cold weather wear but not skiing. Sticking with my Smartwool ultra lights for that!

I think these socks work great. I would prefer them to just be a touch thicker but being thin allows for more room in my boots. Only noticed my feet getting cold when the temperature was much colder then average.

Like these alot, especially good value in this 2 pack. They are thinner than last years stoic socks but I dont notice that they are alot colder and they give me some more room in my boots. The addition of the polypro this year is great to help them stretch at little better and help retain shape, the old ones could get a bit stretched out.

It s a sock. They are fitted right and left. They work great. Wear both pairs at once if you think you need more warmth or as some reviewers stated "to thin". Great material.

Like I said it is a sock ;)

These socks are fantastically comfortable, and much warmer than their 'lightweight' status would allude to.

I love these socks, they are thin but oh so warm and comfortable! I need to get more pairs, they hold their shape and elasticity and don't shrink.

I bought these to wear on a recent trip to Korea and Japan. I wanted something thin but warm to keep my feet toasty in normal shoes while walking around the city, or seeing old buddhist temples. Not once did I even notice my feet getting cold.

I haven't tested them for boarding up in the mountains, so I can't speak with confidence how they are there. But in 10 degree weather wearing a pair of Chuck Taylor's I was warm (and normally those kind of shoes are far from warmth generators).

The Stoic Alpine Merino 3T ski socks offer excellent comfort and a great thin design so they won't take up too much space in your boots. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting a fairly thin merino sock.

One of our companions on our trip down the Lower Canyons of the Rio Grande was wearing top siders and no socks in the canoe. In December. When it was freezing. I loaned him my Merino socks and the color returned to his toes, even though they were constantly wet.

Pretty good socks, although I would have liked them to be a bit thicker. I wore them with thin wool liner socks, for semi-cold days, and wear them alone on warm ski days.

Love these socks. They are the perfect thickness. The ones from last year were way too think for me.

I got these to wear snowboarding and they've been great. Nice and warm, but not too thick.

Not stoked on these socks.
I bought a whole bunch of these last year because they fit great, and were the perfect thickness for skiing.
So I ordered a few more pair.
When I pulled them out of the box, I immediately noticed how much thinner the socks are this year. Still, I thought I'd give them a try. When I put them on this morning, the heel of the sock crawled up my achiles. Poor fit.
My feet were cold and sloppy inside my ski boots today.
Oh, and what's up with having a right and a left sock?
On the plus side, the seam on the toe is very small, and it goes across the front of the toes, rather than over the toe nails. Seemed comfy to me.
After today, though, I will be returning them and hunting again for the perfect sock.

Great socks. Fit is accurate to sizing chart. One thing I have found is that these should be hung dry. They shrink in the dryer, although they do stretch back out, when you use them.
