Stoic used a blend of soft merino and quick-drying synthetic material so the Women's Alpine Merino 150 Crew Shirt is capable of keeping you warm and helping you control moisture when you're working up a sweat outside. Wear this baselayer for trail running, skiing, hiking, or camping.

  • Alpine merino material boosts warmth, breathes, and helps resist the bacteria that causes odors
  • Synthetic polypropylene is blended in with merino to allow this top greater durability, flexibility, and resistance to pilling damage
  • Athletic fit keeps the top close enough to retain body warmth while still allowing space for layers underneath

I've worn this 6 or 7 times since I purchased it and have used it cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and snow shoeing. Great layering shirt. It's kept me warm and looks super stylish too. I'm 5'3" and 113 lb. I bought the small and it's perfect. Love that it's long so that I can tuck it into my snowpants and not get snow down the small of my back.

Feels great, fits perfectly and looks great. It is already a favorite of mine.

I purchased this base layer for my mother for Christmas. She really like it when it gets cold in the winter. She is also fond of the long length which is great for tucking in to help keep out the cold.

i have been wearing it for snowboarding and it kept me very warm. i like it thin and long on the body, so it fitted very well and very comfortable. it is not itchy at all for me. i highly recommend this one and i will buy another one in other color.

Very warm and fit was perfect. Only complaint is that it is a little itchy.

Great baselayer for running in cold temperatures. Thumb holes keep the sleeves down. Runs true to size or maybe a tiny bit small.

Good baselayer, and also fits nicely over a tank or a fitted t-shirt. The arm length is perfect so the thumb holes don't cut into my thumbs.

I really like the fit of this shirt because it's a little longer than most shirts. It stays tucked in if needed. It's also very soft material, form fitting, and the neckline is very comfortable - something I'm always particular about with baselayers.

I have a lot of wool stuff and not so much synthetic stuff; this is a best-of-both-worlds shirt. Would probably still stick with pure wool if I was layering up for serious cold but this is really more comfortable and will probably wash better. Thumb holes are placed perfectly for me (5'8", large) but the sleeves might be too long for anyone who is the same size but shorter. Wore it this morning through seriously heavy chilly fog and got pretty damp; kept me warm enough but didn't smell like wet wool! I'm very happy with it, will probably buy another in a different color.

I love the 150 weight shirts. They're great from warm to cool weather so ideal if you have a casual workplace with fluctuating temperatures.

I usually can't use thumb-holes but these are well-placed on long sleeves. Petite ladies might not like the sleeve length but I love it since I have broad shoulders and long arms and hate to have my wrists stick out... not a problem with this shirt! I also love that the shirt completely covers my butt. It's close-fitting (especially hips) but not tight (I'm 36D-30-39 and got Large). So you can wear the shirt tucked in or pulled out.

I was bummed that this boysenberry color is lighter/less bright than the boysenberry color of the long underwear bottoms but still a cute magenta color.

NOTE: there's also the Stoic Merino 150 crew which has the shorter body length.
