    Perfect Baselayer

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size

Got two of these for my husband to use while snowboarding. He runs hot and easily sweats during exercise and was suspicious of merino wool not being all it's cracked out to be. Boy was he wrong! These are awesome and keep him dry and happy on the mountain.

For reference he's 5' 7" and wears 30x30 jeans and the mediums fit perfectly.

    So good

These thermals are sweet, super comfortable and are just warm enough to get the job done. I have only worn them as a ski layer but soon enough I will have these under a wet suit and am sure they will work great. I purchased a large and they fit a little loose around the waist but that's just due to my oddly proportioned body.

    Fantastic mid-weight baselayer choice

Got these for my boyfriend and couldn't be more thrilled with them. Soft, stretchy and comfy with a flattering fit and good support. Easy to wash and care for, super packable and lightweight while providing ample warmth for snow-covered alpine treks.

These are Toight. But oh so right

Fit amazing. They are a little tight but they stretch well and hug nicely. Very warm, forgot they were on and have worn them a few times while out and about. I dont get hot in them either which is a major plus. I wore them camping and they stand up to rigors well.

My waist is typically ~31" but i hate baggy clothes and these hug well.

    fit, weight, and comfy wool

Well made, the right weight for an active base layer, and they fit well. These could be winter time pajamas they're so comfortable!

    I love merino

I was about to go on a backpacking trip in the Colorado Rockies the 11th-15th of July and wanted a merino base layer mostly for sleeping in but also in case the temps dipped below the mid forties in the mornings. So so comfortable and softer than the Jammie's I had as a kid. I can also use these for snowshoe or snow ski days as a base layer.

    My go to

    • Size Bought: Medium

I wear this baselayer skiing every day. It's comfortable, breathable, warm, and doesn't retain odor - so it's perfect.

It fits true to size, and the black taupe color is awesome in person.

    Best bang for your buck

Everything I thought they'd be and more!

Soft, stretchy, comfortable, warm, and sold at a great price. I'm 6'3, 210 lbs and ordered the XL. You'd have a tough time finding a better quality equivalent for the same price. I use them for biking in the winter, skiing, and climbing. Stoic lived up to it's name here!

    great competitor to other brands

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size

I'm very satisfied with these wool bottoms. I tend to go for a real lightweight wool bottom, with something like powerstretch over that if it's cold enough, followed with a shell. In early winter or late spring, or on nice days at the resort, this layer would be perfect right under your shell pants, if you're not on the lift too long. The quality is really high, and the fly is an often overlooked huge plus other brands don't always have. I have no problems whatsoever replacing my pair of Smartwools of the same weight with these for less $$. The only thing that I don't like about these is the ankle is maybe an inch too big in circumference, so while they cinch, I can imagine they might ride up a bit as I put on another fabric like power stretch over the top. I'm a 31" inseam, got the mediums, maybe 2-4" to spare in the length, but don't feel too big at all on my 31" waist.

    All day warmth

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size

Nothing beats a good merino base layer, and Stoic got it right with this one. I've worn these for a few early-season days so far and they keep me warm without any scratchiness. I ended up lounging in them all day after skiing last week, because they are so comfortable. They are thinner than some older HH base layers I have, but these seem to keep me just as warm. I'll be picking up another pair soon.

    Nice undies

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

What a beautiful pair of warm undies to assist with layering in the winter. A little itchy when you first put them on but, that quickly goes away while wearing them. They are durable and perform the way you need them too. I'm 6'2"178lbs and the Medium was a nice fit, not too tight, not too loose!

    All day, all good

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Wear these in the winter for every day on the hill, resort or otherwise. They keep you warm under your ski pants, and have the perfect amount of stretch to fit perfectly. All day use and you'll know they're there because your warm, but they don't get in your way. Easy mobility lets you do what needs to be done.

    Good base layer

I've had these for over 2 years now and still a solid performer. Bought it on sale on SAC and very happy with the purchase since they were also selling the matching top around the same time. I wear this exclusively in the winter. I notice the wool is a bit scratchier than smart wool but this mostly isn't a problem because I don't feel it as much on my legs. I usually will wear a wicking layer on top next to my skin and the top over that, so I stay dry and don't have the feel itchy.

      Solid bottoms

I got these for my man for going out on a winter yurt and ski trip, and from the sounds of it, these kick butt. Super comfortable, lightweight, but bringing the warmth on when you need it. Ski, hangout, sleep- whatever you need them for, they've got your back. Would definitely recommend these, Stoic has got it down!

        Nice and thin baselayer

        • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my boyfriend. He wore this while snowboarding. It's tight and a little bit itchy, but once we are on the slopes it just felt great - warm and light.

        Awesome!

        • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my dad - he is a brick mason, and in turn, works outside all winter long. He loves these to death...wears them every day. They're lightweight, feel great against the skin, and do their job by keeping ya nice and toasty. Love you dad!

        All my guys love these

        • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

These are good looking, fit well, and are warm, breathable, and don't smell. My husband wears them to backcountry ski; my brother wears them to work construction in the winter; and my dad wears them under coveralls on winter days on the ranch. They all have several pairs. They all prefer them to any other brand out there.

Does anyone know the inseam of these...

Does anyone know the inseam of these leggings in medium? Thanks!
