    Cheap jeans

Ahhhh. Read the reviews after I ordered these jeans. I'm a Stoic fan, so I when I saw that there were jeans, I got kinda excited. Having revived them, washed them and worn them I understand the reviews better. Stitching wasn't good right out of the little plastic bag. While ornamentation isn't something I really look for, the only distinctive thing in these pants was the tiny Stoic label inside. That's it. Nothing anywhere else. Plain button, plain rivets, no labels, nothing. If I was going to infiltrate North Korean and didn't want to dress 'murican, I'd wear these pants. Fit is okay. Not great. Not horrible. Little snug in the thighs, wouldn't want to wear extremely bulky underwear, else I'd have horrible VPL. All in all, $17 dollar jeans.

      Good for the price

If you are looking for a pair of inexpensive jeans these are a good way to go. I was initially very impressed with them. The sizing is spot on, and they look fantastic. After wearing them out a few times I realized the quality is not quite what I once thought it was.

My biggest beef is that these things are stiff. There is literally no stretch in these pants, they are cut how they're cut and they don't deviate from that. I've also been having issues with the stitching coming out as of late and I've had them less than a month.

Like I said, if you're looking for an inexpensive pair of denim, these are great. If you are looking for something a little extra, might want to stay on the hunt.

If you have any questions about these, or anything else on the site, please reach out to me directly and I'll get you taken care of.

      Poor.

Busted out the back pocket, like some of the other reviewers.

One of the other issues that I have with the paints are the belt loops. The front two are so close together that using a large belt buckle is really hard.

      Poor.

This was my first disappointing purchase from backcountry.com in 8 years of shopping here. I bought these jeans because I have liked Stoic's fit (slim, athletic) on their other clothing I own. At first impression I really liked these jeans: the fit was perfect, styling was great, color was pleasing, and the feel of the denim was soft. However, after wearing the jeans only 3 times and yet to wash them, I noticed the corner seams on both rear pockets had developed a hole - similar to one of the other reviewers though less severe. I'm guessing the hole will completely open after washing and a few more wears. I'm very disappointed in the quality of these jeans. I would not recommend buying no matter how cheap the price.

      Decent denim for the dollars

Nice fit, good color. Straight leg but run a little long. I'm usually a 36x32 and that's what I ordered and they came way too long. I'm gonna gift them out to a friend and grab up some 36x30s and see how they shape up. Still very happy with the purchase.

        Such a shame

Have bought many stoic items - and they have all been great and lasted years - Literally the first (and only) day I wore these the ass ripped out from sitting on a bar stool. Not sliding down a hill or climbing a fence, just sitting down. The cut was really great, the material and craftsmanship is atrocious. Seriously, whomever the buyer was for them on this didnt get "a steal" - they just got trash. Dont buy.
