Don't try to fit the Stepchild Stereotype Snowboard into a box. Truth is, this board performs admirably over entire the freestyle spectrum, slaughtering street rails and pillaging park runs with a medium-soft flex and catch-free rockered profile. This season, Stepchild decided to make the Stereotype even lighter and softer by removing the heavy plastic topsheet to satisfy the demands of all you rail slayers out there.
The Halfbreed Camber profile is flat underfoot for stability and edge control, with rocker at the tips to make takeoffs and landings more forgiving. The wood composite core is flexible, yet strong, so it lasts throughout the season. Biax fiberglass offers smooth and soft torsional flex, allowing you to lock down presses and lay into butters without unnecessary stiffness. Armadillo plates reinforce breakage-prone binding areas for bomb-proof durability when gapping onto rails and sticking hard landings. A Snag-Free extruded base allows easy maintenance when you're thrashing your board on a regular basis.
