Next up in Stepchild's series of guest pro model boards is the Lizard King and Possum Bro Model Snowboard. This jib-friendly deck pays tribute to professional skateboarder, Lizard King, and his accomplished snowboard photographer brother, Bob Plumb.
The flat profile gives you the stability and edge hold of a cambered board with a more forgiving feel that's less grabby, and the twin shape allows you to throw tricks both ways like you would on your skateboard. Biax fiberglass provides easy torsional flex that's ideal for jibbing, buttering, and treating the mountain as one giant park.
Poplar keeps the board lightweight and lively, and Armadillo plates underneath the inserts reinforce breakage-prone binding zones when slamming onto rails and stomping huge landings. The extruded base is easy to repair after you're done shredding in the streets. A unique blend of compounds in the new this season Future Glue reduces delamination issues.
