Upgrade your cyclocross whip and go tubeless with the Stan's NoTubes Iron Cross Pro Disc Wheelset. Built specifically for cyclocross, these wheels pack all the speed and handling benefits of tubeless into a lightweight and race-ready package that won't break the bank compared to high-priced, carbon options. The Iron Cross Pro wheels are built with Stan's impeccable reputation for industry-leading tubeless rims and feature the five-degree engagement of the all-new Neo Ultimate hubs, a combination that helps them wind-up fast and weather the bumps to the finish line.

The Iron Cross Pro utilizes Stan's trademark Bead Socket Technology (BST), which features low profile sidewalls that provide a better seat for the tire bead and allow for a heap of benefits compared to standard rims with higher sidewalls. When setup as tubeless, BST provides an exceptional seal while allowing the tire to hold a greater volume of air than standard rims that place the bead 2-4mm below the edge. This interface lets the tire maintain its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform than if the same tire were mounted on a standard rim.

Pairing BST with the ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure than on a standard clincher wheel results in more stability, better handling, solid cornering, and better overall control. These rims are also compatible with standard tubes, and the lower sidewall drastically reduces pinch flat risk by reducing the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time running to the pit with a flat and more time battling for position out on the course.

Stan's laces the Iron Cross Pro rims to its new Neo Ultimate hub set featuring smooth-spinning, oversized stainless bearings that glide on a stiff, strong, swaged axle. The Neo Ultimate holds the bearings at a wider stance for a claimed threefold increase in strength compared to standard hub designs. Instead of the standard Neo's four pawls, the Neo Ultimate boasts six precision pawls that simultaneously engage a forged steel 36t ratchet ring for almost instantaneous, five-degree engagement — half of the standard Neo's ten degrees.

The Iron Cross Pro also features an upgrade to Sapim Laser spokes, which are lighter and stronger than the spokes on the less expensive Iron Cross models. The hubs are finished with Stan's new laser-etched SealLock end caps for easy installation and Slip-Fit axle ends for easy conversion, and the rims come complete with Stan's yellow rim tape and Presta valves already installed for tubeless use.

Currently riding and racing a 2014 Boone 5; really don't like the stock Bontrager wheelset. Curious if the iron cross pro disc center lock wheel will fit on the rear. Don't know if the rear of the bike will fit a 142 width hub.
    Thanks.
