Perfect for any SRAM build kit

Even though it says XX1, this chain can be used with any SRAM build kit including X01 which I used on my new Pivot Mach 6. Clean shifting and a smooth ride with little need for lube.

Big thanks to Joe Bolton in our Retail Store Bike Shop for getting my new Mach 6 put together. If you are ever in Salt Lake City definitely stop by our Retail Store to check out their bike selection and visit Joe (2607 S 3200 W, Suite A, West Valley UT 84119). Contact me with any questions about this Chain, especially if you are interested in custom building a new mountain bike.

      Chain Love

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The SRAM 1x11 system is outstanding. I love the simplicity of only shifting the rear derailleur along with reduced weight and accuracy. The XX1 chain works flawlessly and is highly recommended to complete your 1x11 group.

      1X For All!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you haven't ridden a 1x system, you should. Be warned, once you do, you'll likely never go back. The XX1 chain is a key component to the experience with its plus/minus pattern helping to yield one of the quietest drivetrains with unparalleled retention.

As I log some hefty singletrack miles, I make a point to swap my XX1 chain at the start of each season. Doing so preserves my more expensive cassette and chainring.

I have not had any issues with this chain. It works great and hasn't failed me or worn out prematurely. The quick link is great and I recommend getting http://www.backcountry.com/park-tool-master-link-plier-mlp-1c?s=a
