Travel the four corners of the world in search of perfect snow with this tailored, insulated snow pant.

You travel for work, you travel for play, and packing is easier when you have comfortable pants that go with everything you own. The Spyder Women's Traveler Tailored Fit Pant takes your functional fashion attitude out of the workplace and on to the mountain. This stormproof pant goes with almost every jacket and vest that hangs in your closet, and flatters your shape for a slightly sexy silhouette when you're weaving through trees or buying the first round at the bar après-ski.
Not just another pretty face, the Traveler pant protects you from precipitous precipitation. You want to chase nor'easters and mid-winter hurricanes; at least you'll be dry and looking good while you struggle to stay upright in gale-force winds. The Xt.L laminate and fully taped seams  let the fabric move moisture-vapor away from your legs without letting the downpour creep in. Mild PrimaLoft insulation keeps your gams going strong when the temperatures start to falter and up the ante on warmth when you're wearing body-conscious baselayers.
The tailored fit helps you differentiate yourself from the hoards of drop-crotch boarders and neon high-waisted snowsuits from the '80s. Inner thigh vents unzip for a quick cool down when the summit hike gets you hot and bothered. Lower leg zips make getting into something a little more comfortable easy, while inner snow gaiters grab tight to your boots to keep the pant leg in place. Cuff anchors ensure you aren't showing a little leg on the lift, in the bar, or ripping down the hill. The wide waistband adjusts on the outside so nothing rough rubs against your hips, and belt loops make accessorizing your snow outfit easy.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are fabulous - they are so sleek and yet so functional. In contrast to another response below, they actually are insulated and super comfortable. I love that they come up high in the back so you are never inadvertently exposing skin on the slopes.

runs slim

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I liked the quality of the pants, definitely a heavier/insulated pant, but runs slim.... I usually wear a size 6 and I couldn't get them over my hips

Can you use these for snowboarding?

Can you use these for snowboarding?

Responded on

These are non-insulated ski pants so they will be a little wider at the bottom, but you can use them for snowboarding as well. You may want to wear a base layer underneath these though since they are non-insulated.

My GoTo

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I live in an area where all we do is ski. This Traveler pant not only keeps me warm and dry but fits me like no other ski pant. I know that it is made with the highest quality and will last me several winters.

Responded on

How is the sizing? I haven't skied in a while. The ski pants I used to wear were a couple sizes bigger than my usual clothes. Is that the case here as well?

Responded on

In Spyder, I usually go up one size. Depends on the brand, as some tend to run small and others quite true to size.
