When the temps start to warm up on the hill, grab the Spyder Spring Softshell Glove for low-profile hand cover.

  • 3L Stretch shell and Spylon water-repellent finish for flex and slush
  • Pre-curved, articulated fit helps with pole- and ski-grab
  • Neoprene cuff for a comfy fit without blood-stopping tightness
  • Brushed tricot lining wicks moisture

Bottom Line: The spring stretch.

Pretty nice

I bought these to replace a pair of 686 pipe gloves that were discontinued. They were a bit thicker than I had hoped, but do offer a bit more insulation. Fits well under coat sleeves and not bulky at all. I used these in early season conditions in Tahoe and only had cold hands once on a very windy day. Overall, not bad. Very comparable to the Dakine Bronco glove.

In the spring you need gloves still but do not need the insulation. I found these were enough to crawl through the snow and stay worm, but when the sun was out not get too hot. Last season I built a lot of jumps in the spring and even with all the shoveling they were durable and got more comfortable as I used them.
