Get up and go with your Spyder Propulsion Pants for men. In addition to being part of your go-to ski outfit, these lightly insulated, stretchy ski pants may just become your favorite post-ski pajama pants as well.

  • Stretchy shell fabric is laminated with an XT.L waterproof breathable membrane, which provides a 20K-rated barrier against winter storms
  • Spylon DWR water-resistant coating helps prevent the outer fabric from absorbing surface water—coating retains 80% effectiveness even after 20 washings
  • Fully taped seams block water and snow from rolling down the pants and sneaking in through the cracks
  • Articulated knees mimic the normal anatomical shape of your legs, allow for a more comfortable fit, and provide greater freedom of movement as compared to a standard, straight design
  • Pants come with 40g of Thinsulate insulation to trap heat on cold days—pair with additional layers if the temperature really takes a nosedive

Bottom Line: Does for your legs what coffee does for your morning.

Durable, Comfy, Simple Pant for Sidecountry

By: Backcountry.com Employee

Bought these pants to use as a lighter, sidecountry-style touring pant. My oversized Oakley bibs hang too low in the crotch to be any sort of use when sidestepping or taking long strides.

Fabric feels stretchy, yet far from fragile. Sheds wet snow and moisture easily and when couple with a merino base layer 3/4 pant I've stayed comfortable in these pants through hours of hiking or skinning.

Suspenders adjust quickly and have plenty of range, also slightly stretchy. Fit has a slight amount of baggyness to it, but not the oversized park-style fit that leaves you pulling up your crotch when you need to ascend something particularly steep.

Zippers operate smooth and easily, pockets are large enough for me to fit my notebook to record snow conditions / avie information + an inclinometer and phone.

Huge fan of these pants. A definite step away from the typical race-inspired look that Spyder's been working it's away from over the past few years with it's freeride line.
