The Spyder Boys’ Patsch Insulated Soft Shell Jacket features a light layer of insulation to keep your boy extra warm on the hill. The polyester softshell fabric is slightly stretchy for greater freedom of movement, and the Spylon DWR coating helps prevent water from wetting through the fabric. The interior of the jacket is lined with high-pile fleece, which traps in extra warmth and feels smooth against the skin. This bad boy loves to ski, but it doesn’t mind hanging out around town either.

Just called Backcountry and they will take back the jacket no problem for a full refund. who's better than Backcountry:)

Sandra, this jacket is not ideal for really cold conditions. I would look at something warmer for harsh weather.
