It doesn't matter what the weather looks like—you're going skiing and the Spyder Men's Nordwand Shell Pant is coming with you. Its three-layer Xt.L laminate offers exquisite waterproof protection that keeps you dry when you plow through knee-deep powder, and fully taped seams offer additional waterproof protection that fends off stormy weather. Spyder blended 360° stretch nylon with elastane for this pant's shell so you can hike out in the backcountry with an ultimate freedom of movement when the weather clears.
The Nordwand also features waterproof zippers at the thigh that let out some steam when you work up a sweat hiking up skin tracks. Powderap gaiters allow you to slide your boot's power strap through the gaiter in order to completely cover your boots from powder without the possibility of them slipping off. The neoprene waist gasket offers even more coverage yet remains highly breathable to eliminate any discomfort. And a Recco Avalanche Rescue System might help Recco-equipped ski patrols find you in case you get in an emergency.
