Great Jacket , but Runs Small in Hip Area!

Great women's ski jacket, but I had to return it because the hip area where you zip up the jacket was too tight. I checked the size chart online and it said a size 12 has a 40" hip size. I ordered a Size 12 just to be safe. I am a size 10 in pants and a Size 8 in tops and this jacket in a Size 12 was way too tight at the hips. It definitely would not work if I had ski pants under it. If you order this jacket, be prepared to order at least a size bigger. The arm length on it was fine.

I got this jacket for my girlfriend for her birthday, and it has not disapointed at all. She gets extremely cold but all she needed was a thin baselayer and the jacket in Australian conditions. Stiching is extremely solid and the construction is first class. In December we'll be making our way over to Japan and I have no doubts that the jacket will hold up just as well over there.
