You can see that the Spyder Women’s Meribel Jacket uses clean lines for a sleek, feminine style. What you can’t see is that Spyder fortified this jacket with a 20K-rated membrane and critically taped seams. An X-static Silver Fiber in the polyester insulation fights odor and arm-hair-raising static. When the weather clears halfway through the day, remove the hood and stash it in the back pocket, and open the Underarm zips to let some cool air in. A detachable micro-fiber inner collar and zip-out powder skirt reduce bulk when you want to wear this Spyder jacket into town.
Bottom Line: A detachable hood, pow skirt, and collar for the slopes, and unmistakable style for downtown.

Is the Volcano colour a really bright vivid orange like it shows on this site? I'm wanting a bright orange but the amazon site selling same product shows the Volcano as more a brown orange. Anyone help me before I order?

Why are different sizes more $$'s I noticed the Turf in
Why are different sizes more $$'s I noticed the Turf in 4 is 599 but in a 6 it is 319. Seems a smaller one would be less if it's material :) Sounds kind of discremitory.

wow, good question, there seems to be no apparent pattern to the pricing curve...the most popular sizes may be more expensive and the ones that have more stock may be cheaper beacue noones buying them...you could ask backcountry directly
