The new Leader Jacket is Spyder to the max. Stacked with technical features designed to adapt to the best and worst of winter conditions, the Leader is essential for those who charge hard every day they head to the hill. Don't feel guilty; there's nothing wrong with always being the first one to get to the bottom.

  • Stretch shell, XT.L laminate, and a DWR finish provides protection and flexibility as you ride
  • Brushed metal overlay film provides superior abrasion resistance
  • Fully taped seams remove any chance moisture will find its way into this jacket
  • 100g Thinsulate insulation traps in precious body heat to keep you cozy on the nastiest days
  • Custom-embossed lining comfortably slides over layers
  • Core ventilation system allows you to regulate temperature throughout the day
  • Removable hood system with adjustable opening provides extra protection on snowy days
  • Powder skirt keeps the fluff off your belly, snaps back when you don't need it on the slopes, and removes completely for trips into town
  • Interior stretch cuffs with thumbholes ensure this jacket won't attempt to ride up your arms
  • An array of pockets holds your pass, ID, and goggles

Skied 3x, warm day, cold & blustery day, and 17 degree day. I was concerned when the jacket arrived as it was much lighter than my present Spyder jacket but I was very comfortable. Highly recommend the jacket.

Hey rbrp108001, on that cold & blustery day what did you wear for mid layer and base layer? Same question about that day under 17 degree.
Thanks!
