Ride with your Bro ... mont.
A fresh powder dump tells you to grab your boots and board and head up those powder-packed peaks. Just don't forget your closest bro: the Spyder Men's Bromont Jacket. Osmo technology and fully taped seams offer waterproof protection that keeps you dry in wet weather and has unbeatable breathability that helps you rule the terrain park without becoming a sweaty, then chilled, mess. PrimaLoft Sport insulation warms your bones while you hang at the rail parks, and it retains warmth even if it happens to get wet. Its 360-degree stretch shell lets you tuck, twist, and torque off of kickers like you were buck naked, and a Spylon+ DWR coating only increases the jacket's waterproof protection. Plus, Spyder added an anti-abrasion overlay film by Bemis that keeps this jacket durable through many ski seasons.
The Bromont also features a powder skirt that snaps back when you hit up the lodge. You can remove the hood when there's nothing but sunny skies overhead, and you can cinch it tightly across your head when stormy weather attacks the ski resort. Waterproof zippers at the hand pockets ensure you have a nice and toasty location for your numb digits. Thumbholes at the inner cuffs keep the sleeves in place, and a drawcord at the hem seals out any blustery blizzards. Chamois wipes the crud off your goggles without a scratch.

I love this Jacket
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I am finishing up a trip in Northern Canada with this jacket. Today's high was -4F. So why do I like this?
I went with the share lime. My family made fun of me till we got out on the Mountain and we had low cloud cover. The color not only looks great, but I was not worried about being seen.
This is a very technical jacket, part of the Legend Series. The fabric stretch's 360 degree's, but also the liner does as well. You can have a tight fit and yet it moves with you . Super comfortable. The breathability on this jacket is awesome. I ski hard, and I perspire a lot. I stayed dry. While at the resort, I looked at a lot of other technical jackets, but getting the 20/30 combination could not be found.
Having the Pit Zips in the front of the jacket is awesome. So much easier to open and close.
The fabric has a coating on it so when it gets dirty, it wipes off. someone kindly stepped on it in the lodge, foot print came right off.
My only complaint is that you have to go to the Pinnacle to get two goggle pockets. This coat only has 1.
On the super cold day today I tried Columbia's base layer, the one that is reflective on the inside. For the mid I used the North Face Thermo Ball Jacket. I was warm and remained dry. Not cold at all.
Great technical coat.

Im really thinking about getting this...
Im really thinking about getting this jacket. My sizes are:
What size would you recommend? How easy is it to return? Will it cost me anything to return
You're in between sizes. I think I'd recommend the large, but you might want to order all three M, L, XL and just return the ones that don't fit. Backcountry has an easy and guaranteed return policy, which you can initiate from your order history screen. You can pay return shipping--or use a label they provide which will cost you $6.99 I think.
Backcountry customer service is great, so have no fear of ordering.
I'm also considering buying this jacket. I've had my last jacket for probably 10 years and it has been great but it's time for an upgrade. I am 5'6" tall, 150lbs and tried the Bromont jacket on in a Medium and it fit perfect.
