The Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses's aggressive style and a wrap-around frame give you the look and feel you want for fast-moving outdoor sports like mountain biking and trail running. Spy increased the Scoop's ventilation to ensure they don't fog at just the wrong moment. You need clear vision when taking on that burly ladder drop or tying to catch the eye of the person down the beach.
Bottom Line: Life happens fast, and the Spy Scoop HS Sunglasses keep the pace.
I'm on my third pair - I lost a pair in the surf in Playa del Carmen, lost another pair kayaking - think I would learn, eh? Anyway, I've tried a few Oakley shades because everyone raves about Oakley but these are the best shades I have ever owned. They do not fog, period! I use these when riding my motorcycle and have zero problems with wind in my eyes. For the money, these can't be beat! Buy a pair today, you will not be disappointed.
Hi, I own SPY Scoop HS sunglass (with yellow line in the handle) for more than 5 years now. The frame is worn out, so any chance to 'polish' them up? My lenses are scratched as well, which I think can be replaced. But I am not sure that tint that I should look for. I love my current tint. Can some one help!?(I am not from USA, so buying another one is not quite easy..)Thanks,Praveen

I absolutely love these shades, in fact this is the second pair I have bought in the last 6 months. They are very light and comfortable and the fact that you can change the lenses is also nice. I have gotten many compliments on them, especially because I purchased the neon green color which hardly anybody else has. I generally use them for snow-skiing, mountain biking, hiking, riding my sea-doo, and just riding around town. I was riding my Sea-Doo at around 72 mph and they actually stayed on until I looked down to see if the dry box was open. They flew off and unfortunately they dont float. Other then that, these are great specs. Enjoy.
I got my first pair of the Scoop HS Sunglasses with different lenses from a friend after she broke a pair of another type of shades I had. I am a freeride mountain biker and every time was out biking, all my riding buddies and people I don't even know would comment on how really cool my Spy Scoop sunglasses were. However, the frame on the first pair broke after wear and tear in all type of riding conditions. I tried other pairs of sunglasses, but they just didnt measure up to the Spy scoop sunglasses. So I purchase this pair myself.
The flexible tips on these sunglasses are awesome for my competition motocross helmet... they are great for snowmobiling because the vents in them keep them from fogging up on you... highly recommended
I snagged a pair of these with some polarized lenses (shades are interchangeable) for fishing. These things are so much more that fishing glasses. Used for biking, running, hiking as well; no fog. Pretty light frame, very comfortable, and hot as The Man himself. Good for any activity, take my word for it.
These sunglasses are beautiful, light, and work well in all situations. They have actually sort of even replaced my driving sunglasses (Persol), that's how much I love these sunglasses.
The only con about these sunglasses is the fact they don't have nose pads. I use them for my road cycling, and once sweat builds on your nose, they start to slide down and you constantly have to push them up. Other than this, they're flawless.
I've been really pleased with these sunglasses. Indeed, they are light, and the clarity of the lenses is splendid. In fact, they're clearer than any other glasses I've worn, and I tend to be extremely picky about clarity. The only reason I don't rate the Scoop HS as "5" is that I don't think the whole "scoop" idea actually works. When cycling, particularly in the morning, these glasses still fog over. I've been wearing them in excess of a month now, and I can't tell any discernable difference/advantage in this regard (fogging up). All the same, they're light, stylish, and stay on your face. It's hard to ask for much more, particularly for the price.
Usually evaluating a sunglass is based on fit and lens clarity. With the Scoop though, I just have to say these are the most comfortable sunglasses I've ever worn. The thick rubberized earpieces are flexible, comfortable, hold onto your head well, but don't rip your hair out when taking them off. The nosepiece sits lightly and comfortably on your face. And they are supa stylin'...love em.
