Spy M2 Sunglasses are the advanced offspring of the Micro, featuring hard angles and patented Scoop venting technology for crystal clear forward and peripheral vision. Spy's 9-base ARC prismatic polycarbonate lenses filter out harsh light for heightened optical clarity in all conditions. The lightweight M2 frame is made of flexible, shatter-resistant Grilamid, so you can beat the hell out of 'em without worry. Hytrel rubber temple pads keep the M2 sunglasses snug even when you sweat like a hog at a BBQ-fest.
Dont worry to buy M2 sunglasses from Spy Optic. In the past i got a pair of Nike and theirs was the best sunglasses i wear, but since i got my M2 i can tell you theirs was very hot. They're light and strong at same time.
So spend your money on them you will appreciate them.
I bought blue/blue vectra. The picture does not do them justice. They are the sickest metallic blue out there. They are also light and comfortable. Sometimes I even forget I am wearing them.

I've had these sunglasses for a few weeks now. I purchased them for several reasons- Spy optic is a California company that has a very good reputation and makes some of the coolest shades today (made Italy, not China). The polarization membrane is in the lens, not a film on the outside of the lens as often found in sunglasses. My experience with an outside polarized film is that it eventually rubs off if you clean your glasses a lot. These glasses also feature a venting system to eliminate fogging of the lenses. Could be important if you are riding a motorcycle, or live in an area where morning fogging occurs. Riding my mountain bike in southern CA, this was not a major concern for me. The lenses are also removable- and Backcountry offers Spy optic color lenses (for example- orange) that could be put in on overcast days. I don't know how easy replacement is as I already have orange lenses for my older glasses (mentioned above). The only downside to the wide wrap/venting system is that the arms (?) of the glasses are relatively short. If pressed hard enough when the glasses are off and folded, the end of the ear piece can rub against the inside of the lens. Spy optic protects all its lenses with a scratch resistant surface, but I wouldn't jam these glasses it an overly stuffed backpack without a hardcase for protection. Probably not a bad idea for any sunglasses you may purchase. Overall, extremely happy with the look and function of these shades, and with the fast and courteous service provided by Backcountry.com. Hope this is of some help for your purchase.
I work as a wakeboard instructor and without a doubt my new Spy M2 sunglasses have the most effective lenses for taking out water glare. Also definitely the most comfortable. I have had a few pairs as unfortunately, they still havn't made them float!
I now have three pairs of Spy sunglasses and these are my favorite. They are light, comfortable and very stylish. They really do grip your face even at high speeds. The lenses are fairly easy to change and the color selection is superb. They work extremely well for snow-skiing, mountain biking, boating and pretty much any outdoor sport. They are also great for showing off around town and you will get many compliments on their looks, especially if you get the neon green ones. Enjoy
I've had these glasses for about 2 weeks now, the only complaint I've managed to think of is that the lenses are hard to clean. Minor problem compared to what it could be. Other than that, I love 'em. I wear them all the time, driving, walking down the street, golfing, you name it.
I have worn Spy sunglasses before, (Rainier and Mt. Whitney), and was very pleased. The M2 are form fitting and block the light well. I have worn them on glaciers and on the water and they have preformed great!
Awesome, I've had mine for over a year now. When they were about two weeks old I ran them over with a quad, I took the arms off, and bent them back straight and they've been great ever since. I just bought another pair a couple of weeks ago in a different color. Gnarly glasses!!
