    Pretty sick goggles.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First of all to the people with small heads, get the Bravo. It's essentially the same goggle but in a smaller size. I had a chance to play with this year's Spy lineup at an end of season event at my local hill and their reps were super cool, helpful and friendly. Not any kind of BS or pressure, just facts. I gotta say they're sick goggles with a huge variety of lenses available and swapping out couldn't be easier. They basically snap onto two little tabs on both sides of the goggle. Simple. My only gripe is they aren't a super tight seal so if you're schralping through waist deep pow you might get some in your goggles. It wasn't a problem for me with just chill park laps but yeah. I give it 4 stars if only for this one issue they're otherwise awesome.

    Life in HD!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

For High Definition picture for those life projectors of yours... even if that is not a thing, the Spy Doom Goggles provide! For field of vision, the crisptitude (totally a word) of said vision, and lack of fogging there is but one word..... DOOM!

If Travis Rice has Art of Flight quality picture, why shouldn't you?

    Love Them!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These goggles rock in every situation I have ever used them in! They have literally never fogged up on me, and you can swap them out in seconds. Bigger frame but not too big, spherical lens so you have a wide field of vision, AND they come with a bonus lens. They are a steal!

    Love the lenses

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These goggles are so easy to change the lenses. I got the spy willey combination and they are a good combination of lenses for bright and low light days. They leak a little bit. After a powder day there was a build up of snow on the inside of the goggles. I like that the nose cavity doesn't cut off my nasal passage. They do a good job of not fogging up. a great goggle

    Doom Goggle

Its that time to stock up on a new pair of goggles. Luckily this one comes with a bonus lens and i agree with the below that its easy to switch out! i like this style and the functionality not having to worry about fogging and not being able to see.

      Meet Your Doom

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This goggles are awesome! They never fog up and changing lenses literally takes seconds. They also look pretty steezy. You really get what you pay for and they come with a low-light lens. Great for larger faces.

      Strap Over ANON RAIDER

Fits over my (L) helmet without forcing it

      Threw my Oakley Splice away!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It started when I had some questions about my Oakley Splice goggles. I talked to Garrett from Backcountry.Com and he mentioned he had the Spy Doom and loved them . I did some reseach of my own and decided to buy them. BEST DECISION!! They were more comfortable with my helmet than my Splice which used to bother the bridge of my nose. The clarity and range of vision is incomparable given the size of the lens, and not to mention they look AWESOME!!! Thanks Garrett! And if anyone would like to buy my Oakley Splice before I throw them in the trash let me know! ;)

P.s. they fit over my Anon Raider helmet without forcing it, and they did not fog one time.

      Threw my Oakley Splice away!

      Big and Beautiful!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Happy Lens are definitely named appropriately! Great clarity and field of view with these bad boys! One of the easiest lenses to change out, no need to remove the frame from your face, just press the button!

Very durable so far and don't really fog up. Hope to have these for the longhaul, thanks to the lifetime warranty from SPY!

The reason I can't give them 5 stars is due to the strap. They are meant to be worn with the strap under your helmet. While that might work for some, I find it a bit awkward. I still wear them with the strap over the helmet (fits over a size L Vantage). Only downside is they are pretty tight and every once in a while the strap will disconnect from the frame when lifting goggles from face to rest on helmet (easy to reconnect though).

      Big and Beautiful!

      Best. Goggles. Ever. Period.

I've worn SPY for years, but these blew me away. Hands down the best set of goggles I've ever owned. Felt great on my face, great peripheral vision, and never fogged up. Pus the Happy Lenses live true to their name. I did wear the strap under my helmet.

        Best. Goggles. Ever. Period.

        Swap Lenses like a boss

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Not only does the massive lens let you see everything you could ever want. Except behind your head if course. It's also so easy to swap lenses you can do it without even taking off the goggles. Pretty slick. Be carefully and make sure they're clipped all the way.

One downside for me is the size of the lens. For a girl, they're pretty freaking huge. But if you don't mind the size, they still fit against my face well, and are quite comfortable on my face.

        Swap Lenses like a boss

        Hey Guys,
I believe those are the GRAY W/ BLACK MIRROR + PINK CONTACT, judging those are the original lenses with the purple frame Annalee has pictured.

Feel free to email me at galand@backcountry.com if you have any other questions about these goggles.

What helmets are these most compatible with?

        Hey Chris,

Since Spy doesn't manufacture its own helmet brand, their goggles aren't really made to fit any specific helmet. Most helmets have the same general brim curvature/shape to integrate well with most goggles. Spy takes that general approach - their goggles will integrate well with most helmets.

If you have a specific helmet in mind let me know and I can give you a more specific answer! LFeasler@backcountry.com

Why are these considered helmet compatible...

Why are these considered helmet compatible when the strap is too short to go on my helmet

        Donnie,

The Spy Flight Strap utilizes a Hook-and-Loop Fastener system similar to your favorite pair of classic high top sneakers. This system keeps the goggle strap at the same fit all day, eliminating slippage and readjustment. It also eliminates the uncomfortable adjusters and creates a comfortable, supportive fit for under your helmet.

The Flight Strap is shorter than the "normal" adjustable one on the other Dooms. I had the same problem with Smith and Giro Omen helmets, and had to return the goggles.

The other Spy Dooms without the flight strap fit a large helmet just fine
