The SportHill Men's XC Pant is a perennial favorite. This stretchy, wind- and weather-resistant pant is a must-have for avid winter runners, snowshoers, and cross country skiers. SportHill's 3SP fabric seals in heat and blocks the elements while remaining breathable. This durable yet soft material is constructed with flatlock inseams to reduced uncomfortable abrasion during your workout. SportHill included 12-inch ankle zips to make changing into and out of your ski boots or running shoes quick and easy.

Bottom Line: Sporthill's XC pant is the only layer you'll need to wear when you work out this winter.

Where's the ladies XC pant

Great for X-country skiing, running, snow shoveling, hiking or any other activity outside in the winter when you are going to be moving a lot. These are all you'll ever need for most people as they keep you warm down to 20 degrees. (I've been fine wearing mine in subzero wind chills skiing, as long as you have some warmer layers on top. ) They are incredibly tough. Many, many spills skiing and more than five years later and no rips or tears. The knees don't even look warn out. The 3 sp fabric is almost like a matte neoprene on the outside and cozy fleece on the inside. Granted I don't wear these every day, but use them maybe a dozen times during the winter. I baby them in the wash, using gentle cycle and line dry and they just keep going. Well worth the money.

Sporthill has other great products for skiing and running, but I really think the XC line is the pinnacle.

What is the fit, warmth, and weight of these pants compared to

What is the fit, warmth, and weight of these pants compared to Craft x-country pants? I like very much the Craft pants but they are somewhat baggy for me (in size Large, I am 6;1', 165 lbs).

they work

I use these pants for skate and classic cross country skiing. After 2 seasons, I have had no problems with these pants. The best thing I can say about them is I don't notice them. My legs never get too warm or too cold, and I haven't experienced any chafing or rubbing. For the money, I think they are the best.
