SportHill Summit Tights - Men's - 2006 BCS

I will add my voice to the chorus of folks talking about sizing. These are really big. Based on the reviews here, I ordered a size smaller than normal. I had to return and exchange them for a size 2 smaller than normal. I wear an Extra Large in just about every pair of pants. I have a really big butt and really big thighs. The size Large tights were way too big. I had to go with a size Medium.

These pants are sublime. They are perfect form following perfect function. Cut and fabric seem to literally drive and enhance an exquisite stride. You can almost just stand there drinking cocoa while the Sport Hill Summit Tights ski off with you in them. New to X-C? Why take lessons? Just wear these tights. Or maybe you've skied for decades, done it all, even a jaunt from Lapland to Kaktovik? Well you ain't seen nuthin' 'til you've longshaked around in these babies. Not too baggy, not too tight. Blessedly free of the cartoon Spidey graphics, you will infuse dignity with your athleticism and appear (dare I say) somewhat yummy. Don't put 'em in the drier.

Great tights, but I gave 'em a 4, because of the sizing. I'm a big guy, so I ordered the XLs, but they were way too large. I returned 'em for an LG, which were still rather loose and long, but a hot wash made for a better fit. Overall, I really like these tights! I've used 'em for long walks in some very cold weather and my legs felt warm and protected. You just might want to order a size smaller than usual.

I encourage you to order a size down (or two sizes down if you like your tights tight.) The men's mediums were definitely larger than usually. They fit the same as a pair of men's large craft running pants which are not tights! The product it self seems great, thick, warm, well made. I think the reviewer above definitely got a defective pair.

Sporthill tights are usually as tough as nails. This pair must of had a fabric defect, one leg tore the first time I put them on...things happen.
