Details

Blocks brisk breezes.

Often forcing riders to deal with wind-driven rain and muddy conditions, The Tour of Flanders is considered to have some of the nastiest weather. Incorporating the Italian word for "Flanders," Sportful's Fiandre Light No-Rain Vest embodies the weatherproof protection needed to push through this spring classic.

Engineered with WindShield 3L stretch windproof fabric along the front, shoulders, and upper arms, the Sportful Fiandre Light No-Rain Vest insulates your upper body from chilly temperatures and gusty winds. NoRain Light fabric along the back sheds light showers and road spray from seeping through, while breathing well for exceptional comfort on fast-paced rides. Its YKK full-length zip ventilates your upper body when you're pushing through on high-cadence training rides. Other key features include zippered rear pockets for functional storage of energy gels and extra layers, as well as reflective heat transfer strips for enhanced visibility after dark.

Very nice

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I ordered this vest hoping that it'd be light and packable, but still windproof enough for warmth. Not disappointed so far. The wind blocking seems almost as good as a much heavier wind-tex vest I've had for a few years, but this Sportful vest is far lighter and fits much better into a jersey back pocket. Now that I've had a chance to ride in the rain with it, I'm pretty impressed with the water resistance. My core stayed nice and dry.
It's provided plenty of warmth on rides in the mid-30s to mid-40s, and I really won't ask much more of it than that. Also, the fit is nice - no extra fabric out flapping in the wind, so it's easy to forget you have it on.
Very pleased with it.
