With enough waterproofing to withstand any storm and underarm vents for temperature regulation, the Special Blend Men's Control Snowboard Jacket lets you call the shots on the mountain. Fully taped seams increase the waterproof protection by blocking out even the tiniest leaks. Articulated elbows make those double grabs feel more natural. The Control coat's powder skirt stops those fresh inches from shooting up your back. Zip the pow skirt off so you don't look like a dork when you rock this parka in the city, and detach the hood—or just its fur trim—to change things up.
Bottom Line: Don't play the victim role. You control your shred experience when you ride in the Special Blend Control Jacket.
The jacket itself it nice. Seemed pretty warm. I would probably just where a thermal and the jacket on a 20-30 degree day. The tech in the jack is pretty good too. Only thing i didn't like was the purple inside and the outside is not really black, but more of a mauve color. The purple is the color of (Barney). Other than that, the jacket is awesome. I ended up returning it because I want a black jacket. This Jacket clashed with my pants. Its all about how you look on the slopes, not how you ride!
I'm pretty stoked on this jacket as I got it in yellow and like the color a lot. However as far as plain old quality goes, this does not measure up to other jackets I've owned. The stitching is poor and the overall thought that went into the (pass pocket, hood size, interior pockets) appears low. My 686 Uzi jacket is of much higher construction quality but I will probably wear this one more for filming.
I'm very picky of my snowboarding jackets. I just want to get one and make sure it has everything I need.
First of all, is there two zippers. Meaning, there is one where you pull it all the way up. And the other half the zipper will allow for easy access for number 1 without having to take of the jacket?
Is there a thermal sleeve built into the arm keeping the snow from coming into the jacket from the sleeve?
Is the jacket double layered? Can you remove the inside part of it or is thin like a shell?
Overall, I'm looking for a form fitting jacket that isn't too bulky. I tend to snowboard in all type of weather including, storms, nights, winds, and warm days. Let me know what other jackets you recommend as well!
Double zipper yes, Thermal Sleeve no, Liner no, The jacket is just a shell, it will keep you dry. The best thing for keeping warm is to wear base layer. Some other jacket you can look at is the special blend Autograph, it is our highest end jacket, super technical. Everything you want (unless you want a liner). The best jacket we make.

I got this Jacket last winter, great Jacket for sure. Super stylish! Kept me plenty warm in Salt Lake City for a ski trip. We had a treacherous day at Alta with 26 inches of powder, and more snow while we were there and this Jacket kept me warm and dry through it all. It was great for my ipod. My only beef, is that when you don't have it zipped up, you can see the inner lining which is bright purple. Not a huge issue since I'm a Viking fan and live in Minnesota, but they should probably show that on the pictures since is pretty bright.
What an awesome jacket! Wicked warm and sick looks too. I haven't seen anyone on the mountain yet with my jacket which f'in hacks me off. Keeps the powder out too with the skirt. Lots of pockets too for whatever including an iPod pocket with little loops to run your headphones up the jacket and into your ears. Board safe homies......
