Special Blend Autograph Jacket - Men's - 2008 BCS

This jacket is the best I have ever had! I purchased it at 60% off and could not be more pleased. I would be hard-pressed to find a better jacket for the price, much less a DOUBLLE-LAYER Gore-Tex jacket! I had another Special-Blend brand jacket for the past three years and I thought I was happy with it until I purchased this one. The Autograph Gore-Tex jacket blew it away! The Autograph jacket is very comfortable and superior to the harshest of elements. I am 6'4" and 190 pounds and got the XL and was worried it would be too large, but it fits me just the way I like it, loose-but-not-too-loose (just right).I am sure you will be as stoked about this jacket as i am!! This is the first Special Blend product i have purchased and I bought this jacket at 50% off! Great price for a gore-tex jacket. I bought the struggle tonal color and it looks great and received several compliments : ) The description says the jacket is just a shell, but the nylon lining does provide a little insulation versus just a shell itself. I wore this jacket in 20degree weather with strong winds and my underarmour and a tshirt underneath and i was comfortable all day. The description also says the jacket is cut 6 inches longer, and because i'm only 5'7" i was worried this jacket was going to be too long on me. Size small actually fit perfect, just the right size in length and arm length, definitely not any longer than your average snowboard jacket. Before this jacket i wore a North Face medium, so i decided to buy a Burton Cyclic medium and that jacket felt like an X Large. Beware snowboard jackets seem to run a little bigger than your average jacket. I'm glad I decided to go with this jacket than exchange the Cyclic for a small because the collar was HUGE if the jacket was not all the way zipped up. The Special Blend Autograph has more pockets than you know what to do with, but they're great to have. The only thing i would say i do not really care for on this jacket is the detachable hood. I wish the hood was connected on permanently than having the option to zip it off. The hood is big, no worries about fitting a helmet underneath. I'm very satisfied with my purchase! enjoy!
