Reminded me of the pom hats crafty ladies made for me and the rest of my preppy friends back in the 80's before the big ski trip. You would place your order, they would spell your name wrong or there would be something wrong with the size or there would be something a little trippy about the design. This hat would have been just the thing to rock while skiing in my jeans in the poconos. It's so cool I want to leave my helmet in the locker room. the super smooth fleece lining is a modern bonus.

Straight out of the bag this hat was a disaster. First things first I have a really tall dome and this thing still sat up way too high. Second, yes there are 2 different balls for the top but I don't see that button that holds them on lasting long. Last but not least, it just seemed cheap...like if I left it laying around and one of my boys got a hold of it, they could probably rip it apart. Description says "doesn't take shit from anyone"...well, I'm telling it right now that it's shit. I did see one reviewer said it was super warm and yes, that is the only reason I didn't give it just one star...the interior insulation on this one is nice.

After waiting what seemed like forever to get my package (weather delays, apparently), I was a little disappointed when I tried the item on.
First, the fit was way big. I understand it is supposed to be a bit loose, but I have a huge dome and it was still way too big.
Second, the spelling was off. Yeah... the product was manufactured in Indonesia but come on.

This hat is SUPER warm ...
not only is it thick and hand-knit, it is fleeced lined around the ears.
it also comes with spare POM so you can change-out the color whenever you need to spice things up.
