  • Removable 9mm recycled felt liners hold in warmth to keep your feet toasty, and they're fully washable so you can freshen them up if you need to
  • Water-stopping full-grain leather is durable and tough
  • Waterproof, vulcanized rubber shell keeps your feet dry if you accidentally step into a slush puddle

Got these as a gift for a friend for winters in SLC. He LOOOVED them! They're so snazzy & retro looking and a nice break from that Carabous that everyone else seems to have.

These were my first pair of Sorels and I can say that I am totally pleased. I got them for use when its nasty out on the street and for skiing. They excel at both pursuits quite well. I'll start with skiing.

I've been using shearling slippers for the last few seasons at the trailead and found that although very warm they tended to get snow in them which would lead to wet socks at the beggining of the tour which led to cold feet. Enter the Sentry boot and they keep my feet warm and dry so I can hit the skintrack with warm feet. They are also a dream to slip into after the tour as they quickly warm my feet up and due to their loose fit let my feet splay out as well.

In town they are bombproof and warm which means I no longer gingerly traipse around but rather just head for my destination, slushy potholes, and icy streets be damned!

As for fit I wear a size 9 in everything else and chose the 9 in these which fits well for the purpose, that means they are pretty big and loose and roomy, which leads to good circulation and warm feet. Certainly not a performance fit.

My only gripe is the time required to lace them up and take them off. But that's a result of my impatience rather than the design of the boot.

I bought a pair of these for a Christmas gift, and then got a bad case of present envy, so I bought a pair for myself. too.

I love the vintage style of these boots. They kind of remind me of the ones my grandpa wore around the farm. I'm not out feeding cows or anything, but they are amazing when the temperature drops or we get a heavy pile of fresh snow in Park City. They're warm, and I dig the way they look.
