Road Soda Boot - Men's

If lumberjack snow boots, amber ale, and Pierce Brosnan all got together, their love child would be the Sorel Men’s Road Soda Boot. (Don’t try to visualize how all that would work—it’s messy.) The Road Soda Boot boasts Sorel’s tough waterproof leather and warm Thinsulate synthetic insulation, plus high-loft fleece lining. Rubber sole lugs provide excellent traction on icy and snowy walkways. And man-about-town styling shows that you know just what to take on the road with you.

Bottom Line: Smart, tasty, you.

True to fit!...warm! comfortable!

Bought these nearly a month ago and used them the first time in Vermont Snowmobiling. Warm, toasty, comfortable, used an entire day, no break in period required. I wear an 11 to 11.5 in a loafer or running shoe, I bought 11.5 and they fit just right, even with a thicker sock. The rep at Back Country was very helpful as he advised me to buy true to my size on these. Feet do not sweat, they stay dry, toasty and comfortable, not restrictive at all.....Also, they are light!....not heavy to walk around in.....i also hiked up Bromley mountain in them one morning....again fantastic...

These boots are 8 inches tall, so a bit above the ankle.

bought these for winterwonderland in Norway, where we are surrounded by polar bears ... :-) we had a long winter with down to minus 25 degrees Celsius, and these boots protect you agains that they are a little bit bigger in size but not much - ordered half a size up and even with socks made by my motherinlaw they are nice and comfy. And like most of the reviews, they look cool.
Totally recommended !!

I usually wear a nine and a half. Which way should I go? The step up to the 10 (for thick socks etc.) or down to the 9?

Small enough that you don't look like your wearing boots. Pants cover them very well. Not too heavy either.

Stylish and warm

By:

I was looking for a good looking warm pair of boots and man...there just aren't any...but these. I definitely recommend these. They look tight, have a great fit, and are quite warm.

The lining and inserts do a great job of keeping my feet warm from extremely cold (sub 0) to mid 30s. The leather is quite pliable and not rigid like many other boots. The threading looks strong and hasn't shown any sign of breaking. I purchased the light brown pair...but be advised, they aren't as light brown as they appear in the picture here.

These aren't work boots, so if you're looking for those, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a nice pair of boots you can wear out or on the mountain. These are them. You'll get compliments, trust me.

Cozy Boots

Sorel makes good product. No complaints. Comfy, cozy, warm, fuzzy insides, sizing is normal even with thick socks. Only wish would be to have a more firm, durable outer sole.

These boots are super warm. The inside lining soft and comfortable. The sizing seems to be right on. I like that they are not huge, my pant legs fit over them nicely so I don't look like I'm wearing moon boots.
