Quite good

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

These are not as beefy as Sorel's other boots, but I have been quite happy with them nonetheless. I think the simplicity of the laces/drawcord is a real positive for my kid, and we've camped at 0 degrees farenheit without any complaints of cold feet.

Warm and Comfortable

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

My boys find these very comfortable. They like the elastic around the top to keep the snow out, and the strap around the ankle keeps their feet from slipping up, if they run in them. We used them sledding and skiing and just getting around in the snow and have had zero issue with moisture getting into the boot.

Their boots fit me, so I have worn them when they weren't looking and I'm totally in love and can't wait until they grow out of them. They are very warm, even without socks, do great in the snow and slush, and very comfortable.

My boys are both a size 6 or 7 shoe, depending on the brand. The six was too small. The size 7 fits perfectly, they say. I'm a size 7 in mens, so these are just right.

They look good but...

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I must have the worst of luck because they always get my son's feet wet, the good thing is that I can remove the liners and put them in the dryer. I would not buy them again.

good pair of boots

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got these for my nephew while he was staying with us in PC, UT. He tromped all over through the snow with these and had no problem with cold feet or excessive slipping. These are a solid pair of warm, waterproof boots that performed up to expectations.

Keepin my son's feet toasty!

My six year old luvs these, we were sledding in very cold and snowy conditions for hours and his feet were warm and toasty. Easy to put on, the velcro-like strap at the ankle helps keep them on tight. He can sinch up the top with the easy to grab draw cord, even with his gloves on, to keep the snow from entering in from the top keeping him dry which is half the battle. Come on's your kid, their comfort and happiness is worth the price of these great boots. Sorel is the best brand for warm and dry in winter.
