Taking care of business.

Head out to check on the chickens this winter in something a little more substantial than tennis shoes. Sorel made its Cheyanne Premium Boots to take care of your feet this winter while you busy yourself looking after the farm. The vulcanized rubber shells extend around your toes and heels to block out snow and water, and taped seams prevent moisture from finding a way to sneak in. The 200g of Thinsulate insulation traps in warmth and keeps your feet feeling toasty down to -25F. Feel free to wear them when you and the missus go out on the town, too—the full-grain leather uppers will show all of your farmer friends that you two are living the good life.

Too small not typical of Sorel

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

For 30 years or more I have purchased Sorel's because in severe winters they have simply been the best for keeping feet warm and free of snow. The Cheyanne sizing is nothing like the other Sorel styles.

I love these things!

So, it is hard to size something w/o laced, buckles, zippers, etc. (see other reviews... can't fault those opinions)
This is a slip-on however, and that means no further adjustments possible. Most of us own footwear that has this secondary method, yes?!
Now, I was able to try on a size 10 locally (whole sizes only at Gander Mt.)... then I ordered a 9.5 FOR $30 LESS from! Good fit.
I've had them over a month now, and I love them; they are my city boots. I find that the initially-tight rubber sides have relaxed a bit, such that I don't even think about the snug fit (Bulletin: that's how Sorel manages your foot, in a boot with no other way to meet various feet).
In addition, using SmartWool socks of course, I utilized medium hiking socks at first. But now I find it doesn't matter whether I use medium or even a heavier weight.

gift for dad

these are exactly what he wanted, something to slip on and get wood in the snow. but the reviews said they ran small so we got a half size bigger and it was a good thing we did because they were still almost a little small. He is happy with them.

Of All the Sorels; Very Inconsistent Fit

I love Sorel! These boots LOOK amazing. I tried every pair and size and none in THIS PARTICULAR style worked for me. Good Luck- Give It A Shot!

Love Sorels, Just not These

I bought the caribou in NYC. I LOVE IT. I wanted this pair because they were cheaper and I knew a boot I can really get in the mud and muck with. While THe CARIBOU is amazing. I bought a size 8 and it fit PERFECT. I bought a 8/ 8.5 /9 and NONE OF THEM FIT. This boot was uncomfortable compared to what I had tried. It was too narrow.

The 8.0 and 8.5 was too tight and small, while the nine was better my foot slipped horribly. I don't even want to try a 9.5. SOREL BOOTS LOOK AMAZING. THEY ARE SO COOL. These boot left me disappointed. I've returned them all!

Where are these boots made? China?

Where are these boots made? China?

William, yes they are. They were made in Canada in the good ole days but switched to China operations in the early 2000's.
