Sorel created the Women's Caribou Reserve Boot by adding a few touches of excellence to the original Caribou such as premium elk leather. With a seam-sealed waterproof construction, you can wear these boots during harsh winter weather. The Caribou boots stay warm, even when the ground is freezing, with Texel felt InnerBoot insulation and genuine sheep shearling lining. The poron insert underfoot feels comforatable and ensures cushioning. Sorel's own AeroTrac rubber sole keeps snow from loading up on the bottom of your boot so you can get through the snow more easily.
Bottom Line: The Sorel Caribou Reserve Boot uses fine materials for a finer fit.

These babies are warrrrmmmmm! I got them a month ago and have yet to take them off. I went out and bought 3 pairs of leggings just to have more to wear them with. When I first put them on I thought they would be too tight but the conform to your foot perfectly and the fur is warm but not sweaty. Be sure to get a size smaller than you wear. I wear a 6 normally and had to send back the 6 and get a 5 because the 6 slipped off my ankle when I walked.
Price tag is a hard pill to swallow but I considered these a long term investment. I live in Michigan and have wanted a good pair of boots that I could trudge around in the snow in for the next 20 years and these are it:) Have now walked in 'feet' of snow and not felt cold or wet.
