The Sorel Men's Alpha PAC XT Boot is great for an afternoon of sledding with the kids; it's also great for taking your snow machine out when it's 50 below to go check your trap line. Sorel designed and built this boot for optimal warmth under the most extreme conditions, rating it to minus 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The waterproof polyurethane-backed synthetic upper with fully-taped construction keeps out moisture, while a built-in gaiter keeps slush, snow, and water from coming over the top. A shatter-resistant YKK Shokonloc closure keeps your foot secure, even in temperatures cold enough to make plastic as fragile as glass. 



The Alpha PAC XT's outside keeps out the elements, but that really has no point if your foot isn't comfortable anyway. That's why Sorel gave this boot a removable 9mm recycled felt inner boot with an Omni-Heat reflective lining. Inside this kong of a boot, your foot stays cozy, toasty, and supported. A 2.5mm bonded felt frost plug and molded EVA midsole further enhance comfort and thermal protection while cutting down on unwieldly weight and bulk. The Polar Lite shell outsole keeps things flexible, even in frigid conditions, and multi-directional rubber lugs give superb traction on icy and snowy surfaces.
