Zin to win.
The Sombrio Women's Zinnia Bike Shorts are a no-nonsense answer to your "What shorts should I wear today?" quandary. Tough enough to take a hit but light enough to ride comfortably during hot weather, the Zinnia is constructed of four-way stretch Quattro Flex Dura fabric, with a DWR finish to repel rain and mud. A seamless gusseted crotch panel prevents chafing and increases mobility, and there's a center-back stretch panel for increased flexibility.
Like many of Sombrio's shorts, the Zinnia has bomber seam construction with bar tack stitching throughout all the stress zones and a park pass tab that keeps your lift pass secure while you're ripping DH laps. Two zippered back pockets keep your essentials accessible and safe, and the fly has a locking zipper, popper snap, and hook-and-loop closure to keep your shorts up when you pedal hard or take a spill.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: small
I usually don't take the time to write reviews but I hope this will save someone the trouble of ordering these shorts and having to return it. These run very big. I am usually a S (2/4/6 in pants depending) so I ordered a small and they were way too big (especially in the legs/butt). I didn't exchange them for an XS because I feel even those would have been too big. I suggest ordering 1-2 sizes down. Also, they appear to be a bubble gum/Pepto Bismol pink, but I was surprised that they are actually hot pink.
Comfortable, but run big!

The Sombrio Zinnia shorts are a comfortable pair of bike shorts for longer rides. The fabric is fairly lightweight, but still strong. My complaint is the fit, they run large and stretch out quickly when riding, and the waist has no cinchers. I am typically a size large (8/29 pants) in most bike shorts and took a size medium, I almost think a small could have worked once stretched out... The pockets on the back are pretty nice, there's nothing getting in the way of pedaling. I also wish that Sombrio would sell these with a chamois.
