Strong, tough, and good-looking.

You shouldn't have to choose between looks and function in cycling shorts, and the Sombrio Drift Women's Shorts provide both. Sombrio gave the Drift a long freeride cut, built it out of tough materials, and loaded it up with all the features you need to make the most of gravity and shuttle-access riding.

Constructed out of four-way stretch Quattro Flex Dura fabric with a DWR finish to repel rain and mud, the Drift Shorts will fit pads under them without trouble. A seamless gusseted crotch panel reduces chafing on saddle contact points, and the Drift has durable seam construction with bar tack stitching throughout all the stress zones. Inside, lightweight mesh helps you stay cool and comfortable.

The park pass recoil tab keeps your pass secure while you're ripping lift laps, and hook-and-loop pull tabs on the waistband let you adjust the waist without the use of a belt. A zippered pocket on the side of the leg is angled for easy access to your riding essentials, and the zippered back pocket keeps your ID and cash safe for post ride drinks.

Good DH shorts, runs big!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Height: 5' 7"
    Weight: 150 lbs
    Size Purchased: M

I purchased this pair of shorts in addition to the Zinnia shorts. I think overall, these are a more functional pair for what they are designed for. Good DH shorts for a day in the bike park. Nice sized side pocket for stuff (snack, keys, pass, tool, probably phone would fit too). The fabric is nice and stretchy and comfortable, there is a mesh liner, so these would be too hot for a long pedally ride (maybe good in the cold!). These run pretty big, I am typically a large and got a medium, almost think I could have pulled off a small. I wear a size 8/29 in pants, typically size large in most bike short brands. The cinchers are nice, but they are very flappy and kinda get in the way. I do like the nice bright color of the pink, but just know they are very pink.
