    Heat Moldable

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 7.5/8 mens

I recently scored another pair of ski boots at a swap. Wanting to upgrade the footbed while molding the liner I picked a pair of these up. SOLE does say that you can trim to same size as your old footbed, place inside your liner and simply ski on them to mold. Out of the box these insoles seem to have quite a high arch so I will choose to heat mold these before use.
After I speak with my bootfitter to decide the best option for my boots, I will write an update for the molding process.

After discussing my options for footbeds in my ski-swap sourced Krypton's my bootfitter (Inkline in SLC) I have decided to go another route. Essentially because of how much correction I need on one of my feet, it is better if I trim my orthotic insoles a tad to fit both ski boots.
So if you pick up a new pair of ski boots and cannot fit orthotic insoles into your budget, a pair of these footbeds and liner mold will be a great step in the right direction.

So good I bought a backup

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

So I didn't have any insoles to speak of in my Rossi B-Squads (which was kinda weird for being an $800 boot), so I bought these in hopes of achieving two things - warmer feet & better performance. I was a little skeptical with these being a trim to fit insole, but to my pleasant surprise, they worked really well. My feet never got cold, and I noticed that I have a snugger and more technical fit in my boots now.

Only thing is, I had these professionally molded (by Inkline sports in Salt Lake City...thanks guys!), which cost a little bit extra on top of the actual soles. But for me it was still worth every penny.
