Here's what others have to say...

So I just got these, and immediately...

So I just got these, and immediately realized they are for people with low arches, at least out the box. I have a very "tall" foot" and the ramp angle of the top of my foot is severely misaligned from the very flat angle of the strap. As a result only the leading edge contacts my foot, which is quite unpleasant (I've had the same problem with Olukais). Question is, will the top straps stretch and mold over time? If not I need to return. Because they are canvas rather than leather that gives me hope.

Responded on

So I ended up returning these because of the above issue. With how incredibly wide the strap is I don't think that pair was going to conform anytime soon. A shame because the footbed is insanely comfortable, and they are incredibly light for how burly they are.
FWIW, I tried on a pair of "Sole Cork Flips" and that strap setup didn't hurt as much and seemed like it would conform over much better over time to taller feet.

I've had these for about 8 months and can honestly say they are the best, most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn. I am not a casual flip flopper. I hike, backpack and creek fish in flip flops and have put these through a full spring/summer of abuse - wearing them almost exclusively here in Montana. I love the arch support and stiffness of the midsole and the cork footbed gets better every step of the way while still remaining grippy when wet. The sole does not have a knobby tread, but as long as things aren't too muddy they work well on most surfaces. I typically blow through flips 1-2 times a year - mostly due to strap failure (usually while wading upstream). Aside from some scuffing of the sole due to my over-pronating, They show no signs of wear. The underside of the straps have a very comfortable and durable padded material that resists hotspots and chafing. I would not be surprised if I got 5 years out of these things with repeated summer abuse. I'm a size 12 and weigh 210 lbs and they feel true to size and I have not had issues with feeling that the straps are too tight like the other reviewer. Pull the trigger on these versatile slippers!

Amazing flips - for awhile...

I have mixed feelings about these... they were my go-to flip this summer and were one of the most comfortable and supportive sandals I've ever owned. After a few months of moderate use, however, the foot beds are severely cracking and the bottom tread is peeling off on both. For this price I expect a little better wear and more than one season of use. These will need to be replaced next year for sure.
