Big.

This is definitely bigger than your standard buck knife. It's light enough that you won't mind it on you but still feels solid and sturdy. No side play on the blade. Locks tight. My new go-to camp knife. Might be a little big for breasting duck but it would still work. Handle washes off easy enough.

Good knife, not the right color

Good - Its a smooth action, good blade, good balance, a little wide but it is a big knife so thats expected. Im not sure if I would use it as a regular carry knife but perfect for my backpack or car as a utility knife. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a large sized knife.

Bad - The green color is darker than the color shown thats a bright green. Its more of a light forest green.

Great for backpacking

SOG makes the best knives! This is my second and came razor sharp. Much lighter than my SOG SEAL fixed blade knife, and will be better for backpacking. Nice and compact and at 4.8oz is a great weight for outdoor use. I purchased the half serrated blade model. I like having that cutting edge if I need to cut something thick or a dense material that might dull the blade faster. Fits in the hand comfortably and locking mechanism easily disengages the blade to close it up. Great knife!

Nice Knife

I'm really liking this knife, I've been carrying this knife daily for the past month and I really like how it rides low in the pocket with the pocket clip. The zytel handle texture offers a nice no slip grip to it. Opening and closing the knife is smooth however lockup isn't as tight as I would like there is a bit of blade play both up and down and side to side but its not too bad. Screw construiction is nice I like to keep my blades clean so I like that I can take it appart and clean and oil it if needed. The 8Cr13MOV blade keeps a decent edge I've only had to sharpen it twice since carrying the knife, it sharpens up quickly to a razor sharp edge in no time!

Great Daily Knife

I use this knife daily from opening the mail, cutting a steak, cutting burns out of my dogs hair, even gutted a deer with it recently. I have noticed that the pocket clip has worked its way loose, but I keep it in my pocket and use the clip to hold money. I have had to sharpen the knife about once a week, but it also gets daily use. I would recommend this knife to anyone. The large thumb hole even works well to open stubborn beer bottles!
